Uoman42 The hybrid card will just heat your house more effectively while keeping your card cooler. It doesn't prevent your card from producing heat, it just more efficiently disperses it. Just an fyi.
If anything it will indeed result in more heat being exhausted by your case, that is correct, compared to current air-cooled cards. The air-cooled 3080s/3090s exhaust the vast majority of their hot air back in to the case, which eventually finds it's way out. The Hybrid cards exhaust almost ALL of their heat DIRECTLY out of the case (through the radiator's exhaust & out the back of the card from the VRMs etc), so any heat it's producing will be put in to your room immediately. They do serve as great space heaters in my experience. One thing I would highly recommend against is setting up a Hybrid radiator as INTAKE on your case. In my experience, the radiator on the Hybrid cards puts out significantly more heat than a comparably sized radiator on a CPU does, so if you have a case that has to have a radiator setup as intake (you only have space for 2 and that's it and you have an AIO on your CPU & GPU), do the CPU's radiator as intake, and the GPU's as exhaust. I had a thermo-couple on the exhaust temp of my 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid's radiator & it routinely saw 32-36C air temps coming out of it under load... you do not want that being "exhausted" in to your case & heating your whole system up, kinda would defeat the purpose of NOT going with an air-cooled card.
Thank you for this insight, this is exactly the problem I would run into should I get my hands on a hybrid.

They can go out anytime between 9-5 PST, but I typically haven’t gotten my emails until after 10 am PST, though the bulk of them seem to go out right after 11 am PST.

aleeexbat Today I pray that enough people passed on their 3070 yesterday to move the queue 18 seconds - it’s optimistic but a guy can dream
I think it is a reasonable dream, depending on the 3070. If you are talking about the FTW3 Ultra, 18 seconds is possible. The XC3 Ultra will be a tougher stretch but isn't out of the question. I like your dream; good luck!

Just to temper expectations, 4 mins could still be a long wait. I've been 45secs away in the 3751 queue for over 3wks now and there's been 0 movement on that queue.

Trying to figure out if I am reading the notify chart correctly. Specifically for the 3883, or XC3 Gaming, does this mean that anyone who has submitted their notify before 11 am on 9/16 should have that card. I am a 2:54 PM for that card so trying to figure out if ill have hope for that one before Christmas.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but realistically you won't get one before Christmas.

tmpman123 I feel like if they let us switch to a different product while keeping in queue position would fix a lot of problems.
I'm sure this would ruffle some feathers, but as someone in both the 3080 XC3 Black (9/17) and 3080 XC3 Gaming (9/16) queues, I'd agree. It's frustrating watching the XC3 Ultra queue move relatively quickly while the other two barely move or don't at all. I guess hindsight it 20/20. At this point, I'd gladly have paid for an Ultra just to have a card. First world problems though. I'll keep waiting and gladly throw EVGA my cash when the queues finally get to me. Props to them for even having a queue system.

That’s a good point. In the case of the Kingpins, we’ve only moved 9 seconds in just over two weeks. It really all depends on the card. Some people might get a COVID vaccine before they get a card at this point.

Yeah, it sucks. I've been 45secs away in the 3751 queue for over 3wks now and there's been no more movement. The nearest MicroCenter is 45mins from me or else I'd visit every couple of days to see if they have any stock. Playing the F5 refresh game on web sites seems like a silly waste of time to me. Nobody is going to beat a bot unless you literally have time to monitor things around the clock.

Hell closest MC to me is 4 and a half hours, me personally id drive 45 minutes for a chance at it, but ya i get that doing that every day would be a huge inconvenience for most.

I have been lurking at this forum post for a long while when Ampere launched in September 2020 and a long time EVGA customer since 2007. I didn't put in my notifies because card drops are in low numbers and is kind of meaningless of adding queue status on the chart. When I saw yesterday's report of the EVGA 3070 FTW3, I am very close of getting it. Therefore, I am placing all the notifies here. I will certainly be letting everyone here at the forums of when I am getting 3070 FTW3 (or the 3080). I am certainly be doing the step up program for sure. Best of luck to everyone getting his or her desired card. 08G-P5-3767-KR 10/29/2020 6:13:31 AM PT 10G-P5-3881-KR 10/7/2020 10:19:41 AM PT - Removed by User 10G-P5-3885-KR 10/5/2020 7:51:33 PM PT - Removed by User 10G-P5-3883-KR 9/22/2020 3:19:12 PM PT 10G-P5-3897-KR 9/22/2020 3:18:57 PM PT 10G-P5-3895-KR 9/22/2020 3:18:32 PM PT

Today is likely to be a day of stragglers. The cards in green font received sizable drops yesterday, so they are likely to have some stragglers this morning as well.... That is all by way of saying, to temper your expectations on the cards in green...we are not likely to see a lot of movement. enewt Today is likely to be a day of stragglers. The cards in green font received sizable drops yesterday, so they are likely to have some stragglers this morning as well.... That is all by way of saying, to temper your expectations on the cards in green...we are not likely to see a lot of movement. As of 8:30 am PT Friday morning, the North American queues are approximately here (bolded font represents movement from Thursday morning’s summary; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of the movement): Card SKU Auto-Notify Date/Time

So, if you are on the bubble, Friday may be your lucky day. Come on EVGA...let's finish out the week on a strong note. Good luck!

Or later. We won't know how this sku performs until it gets a few non- launch drops under its belt. I anticipate it will take longer than 4 weeks to move the timeline 23 hours. Sorry I don't have better news. pumpyjay Or have it shipped to a friend and forwarded to a shipper. That's the route I used to ship out of the US.
Be careful with this...in the following sense: If you are waiting on the EVGA North American queue and plan to ask EVGA to ship to a forwarder, please know that we have seen more than one occasion in the queues when EVGA refused to ship to a known forwarder. I just don't want you waiting and trusting in the queue (for your only path to getting a gpu) and then come to learn that EVGA won't ship to the specific address you need EVGA to target. Best of luck.
