No that wouldn't be fair and most likely would cause a riot. Only if I get first dibs on the first card than I would be okay with it.

Look, as it currently stands we (3881 and 3883) have been misled into queues that are not moving, and 3895 has been misled into a card that's simply not being made at all. Moving us into the corresponding Ultra queue changes nothing for you - your place in line hasn't changed, and those of us who have been patiently waiting since launch might get a shot at a card if we don't mind paying the premium for it.
 
Your alternative, however, is to let you have your card first, only after which everyone else can be merged into the associated queue. Your argument punishes us for being pushed into card SKUs that weren't being made by forcing us to the back of the line, rather than EVGA for not being upfront about manufacturing beforehand and only allowing notifications for the SKUs they actually intended to make.
 
Either way, people are upset. Right now, it's a bunch of folks who were there early and on-time for sign-ups, given a line for the SKU we wanted, and have waited patiently until December only to finally realize, "Hey, they're not making these at all!" From our perspective, it seems fair to at least give us the option of paying the premium for an Ultra based on our current position in line for our current SKU, assuming we've not made another 3080/3090 purchase from another queue.

Trying to figure out if I am reading the notify chart correctly. Specifically for the 3883, or XC3 Gaming, does this mean that anyone who has submitted their notify before 11 am on 9/16 should have that card. I am a 2:54 PM for that card so trying to figure out if ill have hope for that one before Christmas.

That's my understanding, though given how slow 3881 and 3883 are moving, I doubt you'll see a card before 2021.

I'm sure this would ruffle some feathers, but as someone in both the 3080 XC3 Black (9/17) and 3080 XC3 Gaming (9/16) queues, I'd agree.  It's frustrating watching the XC3 Ultra queue move relatively quickly while the other two barely move or don't at all.  I guess hindsight it 20/20.  At this point, I'd gladly have paid for an Ultra just to have a card.  First world problems though.  I'll keep waiting and gladly throw EVGA my cash when the queues finally get to me.  Props to them for even having a queue system.

You and me both on paying for the 3885 just to get a card.  Frankly, I think it's telling EVGA remains silent on this issue and doesn't even give us the option to switch or upgrade, let alone apologize for allowing sign-ups for those cards when they knew they wouldn't make them in meaningful quantities.  I'd be less peeved if they just straight-up acknowledged they misled us, apologize for doing so, and either commit to making 3881 and 3883 as a priority over Ultras/Hybrids/etc until we're caught up (relative to those lineups), or to let us switch queues into the corresponding XC3/FTW3 card they are making if we don't mind the premium while retaining our sign-up time/date to keep our place in line.  It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to silently ignore it and hope those impacted by it don't make a ruckus.
 
Which is exactly why I make a ruckus.

So I was looking at the queue history in this thread for a bit, and it looks like these two are the fastest movers out of all the 3080s? Dumb September me didn't sign up for the 3897 till 9/19, sigh.

That is correct, and that's why those of us in the 3881/3883/3895 lines are so peeved.  Don't let us sign-up for cards you're not going to make, EVGA.

I hope 3080 x3c ultras drop big today

I personally hope no more Ultras until 3881/3883/3895 are out of the launch day (9/16-9/17) window.  That, or give those sign-ups the chance to grab an Ultra if we don't mind the premium.

Grats on the card, but can we please get an official statement from EVGA on why Hydros/Hybrids/Kingpins are being given priority over the 3881/3883/3895 queues from September?  I'm glad people are getting their cards and all, but your silence continues to be a slap in the face on this issue.
