You know one thing I've been thinking about, but mostly thinking it's not a great idea because of the additional size creating problems with me being able to mount everything properly until I get an open-loop on my CPU... When is the Kingpin going to come back & if I get a crack at one, should I... The additional base clock & OCing headroom on it is pretty sick from what I've seen on some videos I've watched. But that's yet even more money for yet even a smaller increase in performance. I still can't find much in the way of info on 3090 FTW3 Ultra XOC BIOS results, I'm figuring the Hybrid cards will clock slightly higher due to lower temps, than the air-cooled versions, on that BIOS. The YOLO thoughts continue while I wait, hopefully today is not the day I get my notification email - if it is, hopefully eVGA CS will be kind & let me hold my spot a few days.

Off topic (I'm an hour away on the XC3 black and hoping that changes real soon), but is there a current EVGA game bundle promotion for when you redeem a new card. If not, do you wait and then redeem later? Thanks.

MrBeeeUK Just curious... I'm on the list and have been for a month. Is tax calculated at checkout? Also, what is the shipping cost? EDIT: This is for a GPU and shipping to the UK! TIA B
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but EVGA.com will not ship a card to the UK. They only accept North American credit cards and addresses, nor will they ship to known freight forwarders. You need to use EVGA.eu
I'm on the EU list, not US - just using the forums to ask a question, there isn't an EU specific forums! :)
Hello, there are no European forums but the european folk have been gathering on this thread. https://forums.evga.com/What39s-going-on-with-EU-and-308039s-m3109033.aspx In the recent days we have been trying to get people to update their status so that I can post how far the queues are. You haven't posted what GPU's you are waiting for but my data shows that no queue has advanced past "launch day" yet. Well... the 3060 Ti technically did advance 1 day but that was because the notifies went green shortly before 6/12, that one has been the most active recently. Take a seat and enjoy your watch, and if you are lucky, post your timestamp so that we can know how far the queue is.

@BovineGamer, well done stepping into the gap to fill a need. I hope folks respond to your call out for the EU market. Best of luck!

Uoman42 The hybrid card will just heat your house more effectively while keeping your card cooler. It doesn't prevent your card from producing heat, it just more efficiently disperses it. Just an fyi.
No. Just, no. Water and air are transfer mediums, and conduction is a product of surface area. Either will heat your house the same, as the total heat produced by your computer and/or video card is a product of power draw, not heat transfer. The wattage at the wall determines the amount of power being converted to heat, not your choice of air or water cooling.

I would think you have a real chance at it. That auto-notify button wasn't announced so the registration uptake was...stilted. I could see the stragglers moving it 9 minutes today. Good luck!

I know the site was stalling when the hybrids went up yesterday... do you think that slowed the amount of actual notifies that were handed out those first ~20 minutes? Having nothing but time I'm curious how close a 9:19 (for both 3080 and 3090, I'll take anything!! hah) may or may not be for today.. Cheers!

Yes. And I think we've already seen that. That queue moved faster than I expected it to. To already at at 9:14.01...that would be a significant progress (if there were no gaps when the website wasn't cooperating).

Now that the 3080 Ultras have made it through the congestion gauntlet of their launch day (9/17), I expect their velocity to dramatically increase until they hit 10/5 when the queues were announced. I think 9/19 is not as far away as you might think (if you are relying on their historic cadences). They will still be a little slow through the morning of 9/18 (folks who failed at -- or missed -- the F5 battle of 9/17 (we lost a lot of good fingers that day)) will be hitting the auto-notify button the morning of 9/18. But by 12 noon PT, I expect these queues to start to really move. Best of luck!

I def think it slowed them down, but I would expect a considerable amount of signups before 9:20. The spreadsheet I saw that is starting to track the data from yesterday puts me in the ~80ish range, and I got my signup at 9:16. We also dont know how many, or if, bots got in. I do think that there was probably few actual notifies before 9:08 (just from what I have read here and what I saw on the tracking sheet initially).

Re yesterday's launch, I do think about 9:17 - 9:18 am is where the cheese gets a bit more binding. It will likely start to slow around that timestamp and be slow through the remainder of the 9 am hour.

Nope. 9:20 am was when many people were able to register.
