So far they've made it to 9:19:00 am on 11/13.  I think there is only about ten or fifteen more minutes of that window on the initial tranche.  Then the queue will jump to 12/10 and today's registrants.  Unfortunately, we won't know how quickly that happens...until it happens.  My best guess, though, is that they would not have opened up the queue again unless they were close to completing service to their...first cohort.  Courage!

I will keep up hope then! I luckily managed to get in the queue fairly early. I noticed the notification button didn't appear until about 10 mins after 9:00am PST

So glad the query came through for me. So glad to say that my search for a 3080 is finally over. It took a lot of patience, but this system was my only chance of getting the card relatively soon. I hope ya'll get your cards soon.

The good news about BB is they do stick to the MSRP.  The bad news is that their checkout process totally sucks.  Once you get a card in your cart, that's actually the easy part.  I've gotten at least 5 different cards into my cart spread across 2 different days.  I was never able to complete the purchase because every single time I would get to the checkout screen to find that the card is "not available within 250 miles".

Now, with that said, I'd still LOVE to manage to get a card from BB.  My birthday is this month so any single purchase I make I get 10% off.  That's pretty nice on something like a RTX 3080.  So I'm still doing the F5 hunt on BB and hoping to get lucky.

Try to only have one window open or use just your phone. If you are trying to get multiple cards I think their system treats you as a bot and will not let you check out if you are trying to get multiple cards.

Enewt,
May I ask how you are getting the queue info or how you are managing it?
I just found this thread yesterday and noticed you seem to be "The One" when it comes to queue info.

Just curious,
Thanks.

This community self-reporting to this thread and brute force scouring the Internet for other places where folks mention successful purchases of cards.  I also have a bad audio Discord habit and I often get reports through my headset.  But, yeah, no secret sauce really....

I wasn't originally planning on upgrading to a 30 series, but my 980 SC is finally starting to show its age - getting an occasional random black screen / device disconnect / device reconnect - so I decided it's time to upgrade to a 3080 before the 980 dies on me, since my gaming PC is also my work PC. Unfortunately, that means I didn't get in the queue until 11/29, so reading this thread and realizing how long it might be until I can get a new card has been a bit demoralizing (especially when I saw that I missed a Best Buy restock on Tuesday morning).

It's also a bit disheartening to see retailers I used to consider reputable taking advantage of the availability situation. Newegg marks the cards up $10 - $20 over MSRP and, on top of that, requires you to buy a combo when they do get cards in stock, and B&H has the ASUS TUF 3080 OC listed for $50 over MSRP.

Right now, my hopes are resting on the 3080 FTW3 Gaming at Best Buy which shows "Coming Soon" rather than "Out of Stock." Micro Center is 40 min. away, so I'm assuming that any stock they might get will already be gone by the time I can get there. I know Newegg announces drops on their twitter feed, but I'm not going to buy parts I don't need just to get my hands on a card, and I refuse to reward predatory retail practices. I just have to hope my 980 holds on until I can get my hands on a 3080.

Any tips other than check Best Buy diligently and pray?

Honestly, you're probably better off in the que. I'd avoid the scalpers at all costs if you don't mind the wait. No point in feeding their greed IMO.

If you want to get a card from best buy your best chances are using ApplePay. It is so much faster to checkout.

Apple Pay or PayPal both work great on Best Buy’s app. Best Buy’s email confirmation is the hardest part of the check out process.

Wow, looking on the "NA EVGA RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 Notify List", I am at about 490 cards away from the 3080 FTW3 Ultra.
That sux.  It currently shows two people getting notifications and their cards at 6am today for 9/18.

My date is 9/22/20 9:05:44 PM, about 4 days out.  Ugh!

So we didn’t all get cards today…[thanks Dave!]…but a good number of us did.  For the rest of us, perhaps a little hope restored.  Mine certainly is.

Jacob (I wish I knew him well enough to call him “Jake” or some other catchy nickname that only those in the know get to use…maybe one day) was, again, nice enough to give us a heads up and a roadmap.  And, sure enough, after a rather rocky “auto-notify button” relighting ceremony that went…a little haywire…things got back to normal and…

(gosh I wish I had a soundtrack to this…just imagine some Miami-based hip-hop artist…French Bulldog…or something like that…pounding out “drops, drops, drops”…anyway…)

…we got drops.

I think it is probably too much to hope for to see more than just a few stragglers on Friday…but, rest assured, stragglers there will be.  So, if you are on the bubble, Friday may be your lucky day.

Whether today was your last day on the wall or simply your latest day among us, welcome.  Thanks for being here.  To those who leave us to go wait by the curb for the UPS driver (see the bulldog reference above), may your cards arrive safely, securely and accurately (don’t let Dennis across street get your gaming goodness)…and, please, enjoy the cards.  You have earned that silicon and then some. Be well.

Tomorrow, we go again.

Enewt! im trying to check out with your code but i get:
Your cart does not have any qualifying products for the Associate Code (VDN2319M4O569J4).

Use another associate's.  Not sure what the problem is unless you are an associate (you cannot both be an associate and use an associate's code) -- that is usually the problem.  Best of luck!  Go get your card!!!!  Congratulations!!!!

I had the same thing happen but I literally just pasted it in a second time and it worked.  *shrug*

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2020/12/10 17:41:01 (permalink)
I missed my cue turn during September for an EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra. Didn’t even realize I missed it at the time as I might have been set on an Asus 3080 Strix back then. Now I feel dumb as I currently prefer the look and overall package of the EVGA FTW3 Ultra more.

And I just put my name back in the cue this month for an EVGA 3080 and 3090 FTW3 Ultra. I followed various drops of 3080 and 3090 cards and they don’t last 5 minutes, and that’s if you can even get it in the cart for a failed checkout process. I never once made it to the end obviously. I also can’t get an Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero, I can’t get an AMD 5950X, and I sure as hell can’t get an EVGA 3080 or 3090 FTW3 Ultra. It’s a nightmare.

Sure, I was able to get a PS5 (Sony direct) and XBOX Series X (Costco) easily enough, but the scalpers are just out of control. They are even scalping every drop of the PS5 controller charger bases. That’s a $30 product. Do you really need to scalp that one? I’m so frustrated at this whole shopping season.

Thankfully Nintendo didn’t play around with stock of Super Mario 3D All-Stars. That shut down many scalpers trying to hoard it in the beginning.

Enewt I posted this about 7 hours ago and don't think you saw it with everything else going on. But it is for your spreadsheet updates if anyone is interested in the 3060Ti series !-----------(I just finished my purchase process for 3060Ti-3665-kr. My time stamp was 12/8/20----12:13:50 PM--PT
I have deleted a notify for 3060Ti-3667-kr. My time stamp for that card was 12/1/20----8:38:29 AM---PT
That should free up 1 3667 spot. I was not on the spread sheet list.
Enewt your code was used and thank you for your hard work here and trying to keep things calm!
Good luck Folks ! :) )

As is the established standard, as of 5:20 pm PT Thursday evening, the North American queues are approximately here (bolded font represents movement from Thursday morning’s summary; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of the movement):

Enewt I believe there was someone yesterday that was talking about receiving their notify for the XC3 ultra at 6:36 a.m., and they said they had already gotten a card, perhaps we can update this listing?

I appreciate enewt's diligence in keeping tabs on these queues, though today's updates on the 3080 and 3090 were gross.  Every single queue moved further than the XC3 Black, 3895 hasn't had a single drop, and 3883 hasn't even moved halfway through the pre-release day.  Meanwhile the Hybrids seem to be trucking along (comparatively), and 3897 is clearly where the 3080 GPUs are being allocated.

Can we please get a formal statement on EVGA regarding 3881, 3883, and 3895 SKUs, along with some kind of resolution?  There's no way you're going to magically make enough cards to meet the 9/16-9/17 launch day signups before the end of the year, and letting us sit and stew in silence is unacceptable.  You might as well just cancel 3895 entirely, and merge 3881/3883 into the 3885 queue, as well as blocking sign-ups for those cards and making them retail only until supplies normalize.  At least then we have a non-zero chance of getting cards before 2021 if we don't mind the upcharge.

10G-P5-3881-KR     9/17/2020 9:44:07 PM PT      No

10 SKUs "launched" on 9/16, three of which have queues that still haven't even reached the 9/17 release date.  EVGA: where are the 3881, 3883, and 3895?
