I cannot fault EVGA for their process. It is by far the best process out there IMO. At least you have a chance to get one with EVGA by just being put on the waiting list.

Apologies to those who have been here awhile and read this from me already, but...I continue to believe that the queue system is the worst gpu purchasing system out there...except for all the other systems.  
 
We bemoan our positions in the lines we care about, but we are glad to have the lines...glad they are virtual as opposed to overnight in a cold parking lot in the middle of a pandemic...glad we have a community of like minded folks to share our watch.  We don't have it great right now from a card-in-hand perspective, but we don't have it sooo bad.  We will get through this...and if our past few weeks...er...months are precedent...with a good amount of humor and goodwill along the way.

I work for a very large tech company  (25 years ) in various supply chain roles, and every single company is affected by the pandemic.  The strength and weakness companies supply chains reveal themselves when there is an unbalance in supply and demand.  Most modern day supply chain systems that procure products from Asia for world-wide markets use some sort of safety stock / target days of supply to ensure smooth delivery to Tier 1 and 2 distributors.  This obviously impacts on hand inventory level that impacts the companies EPS values reported to Wall street.  So companies including Nvidia, EVGA, and all of the suppliers for the GPU but also all of the lower level materials like the packaging for all of the variants.  Also, with all the of the product line changes that Nvidia is doing in answer to AMD's launch adds delays as new product introductions take time.  Marketing also plays a big role as companies use contra dollars to fund marketing campaigns in which account managers fight for their markets and products.  
 
Prior to the Nvidia and AMD GPU launches, there was the MSFS2020 in August.  I have been trying to buy a  thrustmaster flight hotas or honeycomb alpha yoke every since, and they are still out of stock.  BB, Newegg, WM, etc., also sell these products, and have the notify when back in stock type process, you are not guaranteed a chance to buy based on position in the list of orders, just we have stock this very millisecond! 
 
Thank you EVGA for a least giving us gamers a better chance of getting a card sooner than other retailers without having to spend many hours searching and F5'ing.

Thanks.  That is great context.  The entire fall has been challenging -- across the board -- from a tech purchasing perspective.  My hunt for a PSU...well it was a doozy...for a PSU.  
 
I hope your flight plan (ha ha) comes together soon.  And, at the risk of repeating myself (why stop now?!?), I think what EVGA did with the creation of the queue was almost like changing out the engines of a plane midflight.  And to be fair to them, they did it without us seeing many if any staples, stitches, band-aids, etc.  In my book, they have done an outstanding job.

Not yet from what I can tell, although I am still going through all the reports...I am back in the 11 am hour from this morning's reports right now....  I will have a fuller picture in tonight's summary table.

How do eVGA Bucks work exactly?  I just looked and apparently some kind folk have used my code & didn't even tell me they did, I have 124 pending O_o
 
Is that like, $124 I can spend on the site once it's credited?  If so that's awesome & I wish I knew who did it so I could thank them - apparently it as last month, because it says 0 earned this month - that would be neat if they get credited before my 3090 purchase email comes through, every little bit will help for that monster.
 
So you can't use someone else's associates code for a purchase if you're in the program? That seems kinda silly not allowing people to spread the love :-P I was gonna pick someone's randomly from the thread to get my "reward" when I purchase my 3090. 
 

 
Same, i just found that page just now, it says i have 97 bucks pending, i wonder if thats more then 1 person who used my code. I didnt think anyone used my code. Its really nice to see at least one person used it. And like you hopefully i would be able to use it for my purchase. With that in mind i wouldnt mind waiting 1 or 2 weeks knowing i will be credited lol.

One thing I will say - it's crazy how big the power-draw difference is between those two settings for GPU core lol
 
In Cyberpunk @ 2010MHz 900mV, I'm getting 322W peak draw from the GPU in HWInfo.  At 2070MHz 994mV, I was seeing 421W peak draw from the GPU (that's on a 3080 FTW3 Ultra with the XOC BIOS for those wondering)
 
And I can pretty much say with certainty the FPS I gained from that clock increase is not worth 100W extra power draw & 5-8C higher temps either. lol
 

Yes.  I don't think it scales well.  
 
Have I told you how envious I am of your CP2077 playing....  I cannot wait to have a card that can play that game.  [Please, no spoilers.]

Visually the game is amazing, no spoilers coming from this camp, so far I am enjoying it though, and I'm barely out of the "start"/Act 1 of the game - 5-6 hours in. - It's definitely not light on the GPU though. 
I have a friend that already refunded it because his computer straight up can't handle it, I tried to tell him that would be the case, expecting a 1080 to be able to run this game on high-end settings is just non-sense. 
I'm seeing constant full GPU load & between 7-9GB of vRAM usage at my settings (everything turned up fully except Depth of Field being off), 3440 x 1440, DLSS on Quality, frame rates are completely playable, but not spectacular, and there don't see to be much if any frame-time issues, yet.
Tonight I'm gonna finish the particular thing I'm on, then just walk/drive around the city & see how it handles that.

damn. I thought using a VPN to place the order would prevent EVGA from rejecting the transaction since I live in Mexico (mexican credit cards are accepted thank god). Turns out my bank did NOT like that AT ALL. 
Now my card is blocked and I am waiting on the phone to talk to someone. "All agents are occupied right now, please hold, your call is very important tu us", my Ass!!!

Ok, so I finally resolved the issues with my bank and my purchase of 3665 proceeded wihtout further trouble. 
I will be taking my other notifications with the hope some one else get their cards a little earlier.

It's a shame they didn't get to today's signups for the 3080 XC3 Hybrids (3888). I'm hoping they'll get to it before the Christmas break!
