Got one coming my way all the way from China.

Hopefully it can beat/match my Acer Predator X27 in brightness while giving me a nice contrast boost. Currently trying out the LG 27gr95um alongside my Acer Predator X27, and like the nice contrast boost that it gives, but it needs to be a little brighter imo.

Anyone here ever used a redmagic monitor, and if so did you like it?

It does have some nice specs for a decent price too. I see their currently sold out.

If you're looking here... https://na.redmagic.gg/products/redmagic-4k-gaming-monitor That is for the older model which is GM001J. The new model is GM001S.

Thanks. I was looking at the older one apparently.  This is the monitor currently at the top of my list. Still looking though.  https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/setup/monitors/tempest-gp27u/

No problem. I was going to get the gp27u until I read that people were having issues with it flickering in games.

I always get worried when I have something sent from China. Just watch shipping and make sure that it starts to show up as in transit instead of just constantly delayed.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

I didn't see that. It's hard to judge by reviews though. Hard to trust people know what they're doing. Guess I'll keep looking.

That monitor has some serious specs for sure. Great HDR. Way better than I need. I'm looking more in the $800. & under price range. Looking for best I can get in that price range in a 27" - 32" display.

Well if you'd like to give the gigabyte one a try you could buy it directly from the manufacturer (KTC) who makes them for coolermaster... https://www.newegg.com/p/3D4-007C-00009

    Yes, it's cheaper. =)

Yeah, I see that the specs are the same as the coolermaster one I linked to above. Nice sale price on it too. Thanks!

That's funny. I happened to see a pic of the OSD while monitor hunting and it was all in english. But the pic I saw was for the previous model of that monitor.

Well the ones ordered from the usa/canada sites would be english for sure, but I ordered directly from china, so I expect it to come in chinese.

Got it.  Here's the one I finally landed on -> https://www.amazon.com/INNOCN-Monitor-Computer-Connectivity-Adjustable/dp/B0BCK1Z5FD?th=1&tag=xda-v2-6392709-20&ascsubtag=UUxdaUeUpU1004416&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.xda-developers.com%2Fbest-mini-led-monitors%2F&asc_campaign=Commerce

For Prime members though, it was $200 bucks off.  Other than the stand being a bit flimsy, the panel got good reviews overall. I didn't want to spend a lot this round thinking they'll resolve the burn in issue with OLED displays (or invent better tech) before long and I'll want to upgrade again.

I actually looked at the 27M2V too, but it has worse hdr performance than my current monitor so I had to pass on it.

I'm not coming from anything that good to begin with, so this will be a nice reasonably priced upgrade for me. Your new monitor is mentioned in the PCWorld review below.

I don't recall, but it the only one mentioned as better than the INNOCN I bought in that class.

EDIT:  All the graphs used in the review compare the Redmagic monitor, but I don't see which model is used.

Just got a chance to look at the pcworld article. I see the contrast on the redmagic is 11000 which is the older model. The newer one is 15000.
