    Hi Sajin,

    Cool stuff!
What are your temps like for the cpu & gpus?
Are you using a contact frame for the cpu?

Nice benching set up. With “unlimited power” is this thing directly connected to the power grid? That would be sweet, that is until you get the electric bill.

69 on the package. 67c on the hottest pcore after 15 minutes of drawing 145w average on the package in cyberpunk.

EVGA RTX 3090 XC3: 65c on gpu core, 83c on memory, 77c on gpu hotspot.
Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC: 59c on gpu core, 53c on memory, 70c on gpu hotspot.

    No contact frame.

Yeah, it’s connected to the texas power grid. Last months bill was only 80 bucks due to me having a free nights plan with my electric provider. Basically the more power I use at night the lower my bill is. 😁😎

Well my seasonic 1300w platinum (ssr-1300pd) psu can’t handle this rig. The psu chirps when minimizing and maximizing cyberpunk 2077 with both cards running full speed, and sometimes it even shuts the system down causing me to have to flip the switch on psu off/on to get the system back up and running. 🤬

Got seasonics new titanium 1300w (ssr-1300tr) heading my way to see if it can handle the load. 😁

If that doesn't work you might have to beef up the PSU to 1500 or 1600 watts.

The psu is only drawing 1160 watts, and it’s shutting down at that wattage too sometimes when I minimize and maximize cyberpunk. So I don’t believe I need a bigger psu. I just need one that can handle wattage dips, and spikes better. Using my kill a watt I can see the wattage drop to 750w when minimizing/maximizing cyberpunk and then it going back to 1160w afterwards. Sometimes it just chirps and keeps running, and other times it shuts down.

I'm curious if the Seasonic platinum will handle this better.

I’ll definitely be letting everyone know if the new seasonic 1300w titanium unit (ssr-1300tr) resolves my issues or not. If it doesn’t I’ll be contacting seasonic to have a word with them. 😊

Sajin, seems like your CPU power consumption is decently low (145 Watts ) .
    That is the 13900K ?
    Cinebench R23 + my m/b XMP auto-overclocking makes my 12900K consume a shocking 214 Watts .  No pun intended .

Yeah, that is 145w with only cyberpunk 2077 running. 1160w would be with cyberpunk running with both gpu’s being loaded at 90-100%.

    Hi Sajin,

What is the Batch # for your 13900k?
I think anything that starts with "L" is made in Malaysia & "X" is made in Vietnam.
I think anyone who lives in USA gets the "X" variant & Asia & Euro gets the "L" variant.

Sajin, I broke down and ordered a 13900KS.  Had some Amazon credit so I hope I win the silicon lottery.  I don't mind 900w during Winter months, but your 1200w will be a good year round space heater.

    i9 13900KS, Asus ROG Hero Z690 MB, 32GB G.Skill DDR5-6400
    Gigabyte 4090 Gaming OC
    External open-loop w/Velocity2 WB

    Firecuda SSD 1TB & 2TB, EVO 970P 1TB, Black 8TB
    Asus & LG BD-RE
    Corsair AX1600i PS

Just waiting on my new psu to get here. Currently having to run only at 1000w to prevent shutdowns. My current psu had no issues with just the 4090 & 13900k. Adding in the 3090 made it freak out.

Lol, yeah, and to think nvidia is thinking about releasing an even bigger gpu at four slots. Reviewers say my card is a 3.5 slot card.

Got the new psu in. Seems to have resolved all my issues thus far. Less cable clutter to boot as well due to the dedicated 12vhpwr cable.
