lcheng15 Oh man I just discovered today that the auto notify button is a queue that actually works! I thought it was just a simple notify free for all notification thing when I signed up back in September. This has gotta be the best news to me recently. I've signed up for the 3080s around this time: 9/18/2020 1:33:44 PM PT Now I patiently wait for my notification email. Just wanted to be extra clear, if I get the notification email and click within 10 mins, I'll probably get my card, right?
Welcome! You'll have 8 hours to buy the card once you get the "invite to purchase" email. To avoid the email going in your circular file, definitely whitelist ordernotify@evga.com in your email client. Also, if you are new to the forums, there are several "associates" in this thread who have "Associate Codes" in their signature blocks that can get you 5% off of your purchase at checkout. You can click on one of the banners in advance and that will set a cookie so you don't have to worry about it in the rush of checkout. Other than that, stick around, enjoy our community. Best of luck!

enewt So far they've made it to 9:32:12 am on 11/13. I think there is only about five or ten more minutes of that window on the initial tranche. Then the queue will jump to 12/10 and today's registrants. Unfortunately, we won't know how quickly that happens...until it happens. My best guess, though, is that they would not have opened up the queue again unless they were close to completing service to their...first cohort. Courage! Edited. I misread my own notes. The queue moved 19:11 today!
You gave me a scare. I am at 9:22 and I was "wait.. 9:30 already?"

Dude you have no idea just how much I appreciate the mere thought of a working backorder/queue system. Even if my position doesn't drop till mid-Jan i'd still be very happy. The chasing random drops and competing against bots thing has already been very draining. At one point I even considered importing cards from Japan/China with marked up prices cause at least the jacked up prices are due to local/retailer taxes rather than scalpers. Tonight I can sleep a lil better, GN!

Just wondering if there's any update on the 3895 SKU (3080 FTW3 Gaming, non-Ultra). That's the only one I registered for, thinking it would be a bit shorter than the Ultra queue, plus it was a tad cheaper. Judging by these posts, there hasn't been *any* movement on that particular card so I'm wondering if there's any information on what's going on with it. I signed up for the queue on October 7. Thanks

I know right? A working FIFO list that has shown it works. Go figure that Nvidia has it hands deep in the AI development biz and we end up using a pencil and paper (u know what I mean). Just to verify anecdotally, I missed my first notice completely, But a couple days ago I got a notice for the 3090 that was not my first choice so I let it pass. BUT only after asking friends if they wanted it. Since No one could come up with the cash and I did not want another ( I got a gigabyte 3090 eagle on release and sold it to another friend after I took a couple days to play with it) I let it go and reported here. I had ALL 8 hours to talk to people and then exactly 8 hours later the offer had expired. So, it actually worked. Gotta Luv It!

enewt, here’s the 3080 xc3 ultra at 6:36 mentioned a few days ago. enewt
42tylerr I received the notification email for the XC3 ultra but I was able to get a 3080 from a different store. How to I cancel to allow the card to go to the next person?
At this point, it’s too late to speed up the queue. The unit allocated to you will be a straggler for somebody else tomorrow.
And a bit later in the thread someone asked the time he had been queued at: 42tylerr 6:36 a.m.
Hope that helps.

Mine was 9:13:59 AM and I DID get to buy so damn man you can't be far off.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but EVGA.com will not ship a card to the UK. They only accept North American credit cards and addresses, nor will they ship to known freight forwarders. You need to use EVGA.eu

Tax is calculated at checkout for US purchases, and overnight shipping from CA to NC for me was $42 or so. Not sure how that relates to EU prices

Here's hoping everyone BEFORE ME in the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid queue gets their emails today... if I get mine, I get the fun of contacting CS & hoping they can hold it for me as Jacob suggested doing. Got the 2070 Super up on EBay last night, maybe I'll get lucky & someone will snatch it up quickly enough that I can insta-transfer the money from Paypal to my account so that if the email does come today I can purchase :-P I also did this after I got out of the shower, my RAM & VRMs are happier lol: RAM/VRM area fan is now 140mm instead of 120mm lol

As I normally do, I did a quick search of recent sale prices on EBay, and set the starting bid to slightly lower than the average, so it's not an insanely good price, but it's cheap enough that it should 100% sell by the time it ends, which isn't til Sunday. hzatiger I do not see this notify button for the card I am looking for (3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYDRO COPPER GAMING), am I missing something?
Hydros still aren't up yet, they got delayed for unspecified reasons.

A question: *Orders placed on EU.EVGA.com & DE.EVGA.com & FR.EVGA.com are shipped from our Taiwan warehouse Anyone from EU who ordered a card, what is the shipping cost to Germany/EU and is there any import fee or something we have to worry about since it's not coming from an EU warehouse? Maybe an EVGA staff can give detailed information? Thank you very much.

The hybrid card will just heat your house more effectively while keeping your card cooler. It doesn't prevent your card from producing heat, it just more efficiently disperses it. Just an fyi.

Uoman42 The hybrid card will just heat your house more effectively while keeping your card cooler. It doesn't prevent your card from producing heat, it just more efficiently disperses it. Just an fyi.
If anything it will indeed result in more heat being exhausted by your case, that is correct, compared to current air-cooled cards. The air-cooled 3080s/3090s exhaust the vast majority of their hot air back in to the case, which eventually finds it's way out. The Hybrid cards exhaust almost ALL of their heat DIRECTLY out of the case (through the radiator's exhaust & out the back of the card from the VRMs etc), so any heat it's producing will be put in to your room immediately. They do serve as great space heaters in my experience. One thing I would highly recommend against is setting up a Hybrid radiator as INTAKE on your case. In my experience, the radiator on the Hybrid cards puts out significantly more heat than a comparably sized radiator on a CPU does, so if you have a case that has to have a radiator setup as intake (you only have space for 2 and that's it and you have an AIO on your CPU & GPU), do the CPU's radiator as intake, and the GPU's as exhaust. I had a thermo-couple on the exhaust temp of my 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid's radiator & it routinely saw 32-36C air temps coming out of it under load... you do not want that being "exhausted" in to your case & heating your whole system up, kinda would defeat the purpose of NOT going with an air-cooled card.
