Dear Chris, this is what all z690 owners want. I'm not sure if you're developing a bios update at all to support the chip but if you are I wish you and your team luck. If you have any early progress made for 14th gen bios update please post them here. Amen.

    They already said it's not happening as they didn't design the hardware in a manner that can be updated. Doesn't make sense to me as 14900k boots already and it's basically the same as 13th Gen, but that's what they said.

    Does this mean that EVGA Z690 will never be able to be equipped with 14th generation CPU?

    You can use 14th gen CPUs, just technically not supported

    It's fun to see other board manufacturers releasing 14th gen bios updates for their Z690s. I'm not sure I'd run 14th gen. Some say it runs fine while others don't.
