What are the issues with running 14th gen on the Z790 dark or classified? Can anyone provide a list of issues you've encountered and if you were able to fix said issue?

From what I've read it works but a lot of settings aren't properly read. Unfortunately the reports are just scattered so it's hard to get an idea of what needs to be done to get a 14900k to work, hence my post. If you haven't already bought a Z790 Dark, don't. You'll have better support from other brands honestly.

The Z790 has the latest Intel Microcode for the 14th Gen. Processors version 0x12B and the processors have the settings that Intel recommends for them set into the BIOS by default. I hope that this information helps you. BETA BIOS for Z790 0x12B Microcode Update & ME Firmware Update - 10/10/2024 - EVGA Forums evgasjtx59

Is it able to read the 14900ks stock 6.2ghz boost? What about being able to read the stock vid table and setting the vcore appropriately?

i recently switched from a 13900KS to a 14900KS on my Dark, i'm still investigating but atm the 6.2GHz boost doesn't look to work as intended or doesn't seem to work at all in windows balanced power plan, in maximum performances it seem to kinda work...
