Not exactly. When I contacted them and asked if it was possible to resend the "invite to purchase link", the next few reply emails were about how I wouldn't be able to purchase it because I don't live in the US and how their system will block it. Well hell then block the registration in the first place eh? So anyway I asked to resend the link, and got absolutely unrelated answers.

If you are not from NA and you got a purchase link from the NA store, your only option is for it to be shipped to someone in NA and then that person ship the card to you I believe.

I described the full process a few posts above :) But my point in the last post was that they didn't answer my question and tried to avoid me at any costs. Even after I described that the card will be purchased BY and will be shipped TO the US citizen in Florida. I get the email, I miss it, I ask to resend it - they tell me I can't buy if from outside US. I didn't ask if I could buy it, I asked for the link. That's what I'm saying. Eh, life is unfair.

Kind of observing from the sidelines, but I'm going to venture to guess that the reason they aren't being more helpful is probably cause it would essentially be them enabling a workaround on the system they have in place. Not sure of their reasons for keeping the regions separate but it is quite obvious that they don't want people "working around" the limitations. As far as not allowing you to register, I'm not enough of a web techie to know how feasible this is. Would think once you signed in your region could lock you out of items.

well technically, once the US citizen buys the card he is free to do whatever he likes with it right? and regarding the registration and regions, some websites, eg gamespot, zotac and a few more, don't even let you browse their site if they detect your IP in not from US. so it's pretty simple to limit it. I know I know you can use VPN but the point of it is to warn the visitor that he might not be able to purchase stuff from the store. It is kinda good to know upfront, right? I registered, I entered queue, I waited and waited and when my time finally came, you tell me it is US only? nah thanks! I'm not saying the very point of it is wrong - no, it's their business and they know better. But wasting my time and making me wait is where it all goes south for me.

nomoss I understand the frustration Europeans have with getting video cards, but honestly I'm not overly sympathetic for people who try to skirt the system.
EVGA's rules are clearly stated: https://www.evga.com/support/faq/FAQdetails.aspx?faqid=59306 They have a dedicated website for EU orders: https://eu.evga.com/ They also list EU retailers both online and box stores: https://www.evga.com/products/WhereToBuy.aspx?t=Online
If you don't like these clear policies, then feel free to buy from a EU based AIB.
Aquí en Europa, más concreto España están bajando mucho los precios, son más baratos q la propia web de EVGA. Saludos compañero.
Los precios de revendedor parecen estar bajando en todas partes. Es un gran alivio.

gameman1 with which one would you guys stay with I got both the rtx 3070 and ti version my girlfriend bought it for me for fathers day the ti version but she didn't know it wasn't that huge of a jump from my regular 3070 now I don't even know with which to stay with I know the ti uses more watts
definitely keep the 3070ti for one your girlfriend bought it for you.and 2 the ti probably runs better all around not just FPS wise.

3link22 Upgrading from a 2080 (non ti). Thanks for the insight. I’ll keep thinking on it. Still 30 mins to decide.
Sooooo yeah, I would definitely say it's not worth betting that much cash. If you're on a 2080, that's a pretty solid card. I was concerned that maybe you were on like a 1060 or something old like that. Are you running anything super intensive programs/hardware wise? It almost certainly isn't worth the money then. Sorry for the late response, I've been busy since I first responded :/ Hopefully you were able to talk to some other people and make a good decision. Either way, best of luck on your wait!
gametheory Congrats! Glad to see another regular get a card!
Back_Yard_Gamer I'm only catching up now but well done and the very best of luck with the new card. Don't disappear now will ya. Its not that we'd miss ya but we've become immune to ya. 🙂 Have a great weekend.
I'll hang around. Sooo many potential "Post of the day" to follow :)
We're like the old retirees hanging around watching the young guys and reminiscing about what it was like when we were in their (waiting) shoes. XD

Jyoussi sounds good, but please extend the window to 48 hours.. some of us don't live next to our computers or sleep with them on our bed.
Mate, it's not asking that much. When you get close, just check it maybe once a day. And even if you do miss it, EVGA has been spectacular about helping out people who have missed their windows by sending an additional email. But great job being demanding and not wanting to put in a little extra work even though EVGA is doing all of us favour and being more than fair - definitely more than any other AIB
Arvald_zero
NPNiles I'm curious to know myself because I'm lost at this point. I don't know if the queue is available for every card or not. During this week I got a notification for 1650 I believe, I've immediately click but saw the "out of stock". I don't think this is how the queue system work.
You have 8 hours to go for it... They hold the card for you for the duration, then move on to the next in line. The account email on the site has to match the notification email and you have to sign in with that email I got the 1650 notice as well this week but already had a 3060.
The queue system is only available for Ampere GPUs. There are no queues for other parts. The auto-notify button for anything else (PSUs, MBs, older GPUs) is just that (and this was confirmed by EVGA with maybe the except of the Z590 Dark - I'm not entirely sure on that one). It will let you know when it is in stock but that is all. That's why the 1650 email you got didn't reserve one for you. Edit: Dangit. Tshalev beat me to like all of my answers. Thanks for answering people's questions, buddy :D At least this means I am correct too.
😁 I think we're just getting used to answering these questions at this point!

The eagerly awaited relief is on its way, here is the price development of the 6700XT in the Central European region of the last 3 months. Says more than a thousand words. (Model: ASRock Radeon RX 6700 XT Challenger Pro OC) And the cryptocurrencies are in decline, also because the Chinese have many of their mining farms closed by the authorities. In this respect, we can put the discussion of whether US or EU customers are equally serviced to rest. The distributors will have reached the price levels of the online stores in just a few weeks and there will be sufficient offers again, even if somewhat above the list price, I am afraid. But anyway, it's been worse.

You are underestimating that now there are no more stocks and that the others are (perhaps) in production. So we need to see how long it will take to fill the warehouses of European online retailers and whether the quantity available to them will be such as to allow prices to be lowered.

Paying $1.8k ($2k with tax) I would not recommend unless you are specifically mining...and even then, I would not recommend $2k for a GPU

You can stack a discount code (from the Elite wheel) with an associate's code but beyond that, not sure.

I'm getting 120 FPS, Ultra settings, at 4K in Chivalry II (locked by engine at 120 FPS) with my 3090. I haven't found a game yet that I can't maintain above 60FPS, Ultra 4K. 3080Ti might be the better "value" option for 4K gaming. 3080 obviously would be the best value option for 4K gaming (although the FPS won't be there) but since it's a dead product (and likely to continue to be dead at this point) - nothing wrong with a 3090, if your budget allows.

I like that they paired the EVGA 3080ti with a 700W PSU (insert sarcasm)...... I signed up for it as I already have my EVGA 850 G+ installed and waiting so will just have a collection of EVGA PSU's in my closet :)
