Upgrading for the first time since the 2020/2021 new year!!

Nice to see GPU prices have gotten even more ridiculous... so everything else will be upgraded and I'll sit on my 3080 a little while longer:

Old Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bzhxrM
New Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ky4mGJ

Took me 2 hours of searching to finally find some sort of instructions on how to mount a 420mm bracket and AIO into this case. Most manufacturers really need to step their game up when it comes to documentation these days.

Finally got it in and I realized my RGB header wire was never untucked, had to pull it out and redo it all again.

PSU is a weird one, def thought it'd include more than 2 dedicated 8-pin PCIe connectors; def gonna have to find a 12-pin card now!!

Motherboard is cheap but does the two things i need it to do, hold the components and match the color scheme:

Old machine continues to limp along with its chest open until my 9800X3D arrives tomorrow:

Coming to you live from the new PC!!!

Everything went mostly OK for installation, but there were a few trip ups. AIO cooler is so big I couldn't even get the CPU power headers through the grommet. Had to come out, run all the cabling, then put it back in.
I have my white cable extenders installed, but I have a TON of extra wiring just crammed into the back of the case, which is much smaller in size than the OG LL O11D.

Was able to jam it all in and get the cable shield closed and the back of the case on without any issue though.

Absolutely love that this case comes with ONE Front Panel connector port, not divided up into the random Power/LED/HDD/Reset pins anymore:

Everything else seated correctly and is ready to rock:

Tried to remember not to go excessive on the thermal grease.

I was a little worried about trying to run it the first boot with the Vertical bracket installed so it's currently laying on its side with the 3080 direct installed to make sure it boots correctly, in case I need to troubleshoot the BIOS and riser cable:

Now to install the seemingly neverending amount of chipset drivers, OC tools, and monitoring software that'll work with the new board manufacturer.

So got the vertical mount installed and went to go close up the case to show it off for some final pics until I can find a white 4080 or 5080...

...and the top panel will not go back on/line up latches because the screws that Arctic included are rather bulbous!! Off to Lowe's tomorrow to find a flatter replacement set!!

After buying a replacement set of flatter screws and realized they still wouldn't fit, I took the case back apart and looked things over and noticed the Bracket to AIO mounting screws were oversized, completely flat heads, I re-read the manual to be sure that's where it said to use them bracket directly to AIO, and it did. Pulled them out and swapped in the other set, then used them for mounting to the top of the case. Panel shuts just fine now. Really really crappy documentation from Lian Li here.

Build is completed unless someone has a white 4000 series card they want to donate to the build
