I'm curious to know myself because I'm lost at this point. I don't know if the queue is available for every card or not.
During this week I got a notification for 1650 I believe, I've immediately click but saw the "out of stock". I don't think this is how the queue system work.

You have 8 hours to go for it... They hold the card for you for the duration, then move on to the next in line.
The account email on the site has to match the notification email and you have to sign in with that email
I got the 1650 notice as well this week but already had a 3060.

Just be aware they are not holding cards like the 1650; those are first come first serve. Queue is only for 30 series cards.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon!

If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

Upgrading from a 2080 (non ti). Thanks for the insight. I’ll keep thinking on it. Still 30 mins to decide.

Sooooo yeah, I would definitely say it's not worth betting that much cash. If you're on a 2080, that's a pretty solid card. I was concerned that maybe you were on like a 1060 or something old like that. Are you running anything super intensive programs/hardware wise? It almost certainly isn't worth the money then. Sorry for the late response, I've been busy since I first responded :/ Hopefully you were able to talk to some other people and make a good decision. Either way, best of luck on your wait!

Congrats! Glad to see another regular get a card!

I'm only catching up now but well done and the very best of luck with the new card. Don't disappear now will ya. Its not that we'd miss ya but we've become immune to ya. 🙂
Have a great weekend.

I'll hang around. Sooo many potential "Post of the day" to follow :)

I love the bots posting this spam for people

Thank you, that is great news.

This will help a lot of people! 😆

sounds good, but please extend the window to 48 hours.. some of us don't live next to our computers or sleep with them on our bed.

Mate, it's not asking that much. When you get close, just check it maybe once a day. And even if you do miss it, EVGA has been spectacular about helping out people who have missed their windows by sending an additional email. But great job being demanding and not wanting to put in a little extra work even though EVGA is doing all of us favour and being more than fair - definitely more than any other AIB

The queue system is only available for Ampere GPUs. There are no queues for other parts. The auto-notify button for anything else (PSUs, MBs, older GPUs) is just that (and this was confirmed by EVGA with maybe the except of the Z590 Dark - I'm not entirely sure on that one). It will let you know when it is in stock but that is all. That's why the 1650 email you got didn't reserve one for you.

Edit: Dangit. Tshalev beat me to like all of my answers. Thanks for answering people's questions, buddy :D At least this means I am correct too.

Not sure which card specifically you're talking about, but yes. It is very very very normal. There are scores of people still queued up for the 3080 from September of 2020.

Queues take a long time as somehow the cards end up in masse at mining companies.  Now that mining profits are down, who knows.  I wouldn't be surprised if magically the queues start moving again faster.

Since mining profits are down, I expect most of EVGA back-door deals will come to a close and they will suddenly "reinvigorate" the "focus on the end customer".  Expect tons of these LHR cards to start hitting the market in mass and the queues for these products will move very quickly.  It appears that market tightness is easing as friends are more easily getting cards, etc. and some overpriced cards are actually remaining in stock at MC for days now.

I have a ton of EVGA products over the years - I like their products.  I understand what they did and why.  One day they are going to have to rely on US instead of the backdoor dealers looking for a quick mining profit... hopefully it doesn't mean the end of them because quite frankly, some of their competitors do have a better product this time around.

What back door deals are you insinuating that evga is doing? That is a bold statement without proof. I highly doubt that evga is selling direct to miners. They fulfill obligations with distributors and stores and sell to us directly if there is enough to do so.

It's been bounced around many places.  It's hard to prove... except how do you explain the farms with hundreds, if not thousands of EVGA 3080s?  There are certainly enough examples of smaller yet very significant numbers of the desirable cards in the hands of miners.  They didn't ALL come directly from Nvidia as people assume.  These are EVGA branded/designed units.  Do you really think those were bought by bots at the major retailers?

Again.. hard to prove yet the rumors are that some of these well-funded buyers agreed to buy large quantities of cards above market price directly from the vendor.  Of course EVGA has to fulfill it's major customer pipelines/agreements first.

So no proof, got it. Would be willing to bet that a distributor or system integrator would be selling to miners but not evga directly. I happen to know of one of the system Integrators that sells mining rigs directly to miners. Does it directly on his website. I would watch your words though as they are slanderous.

I edited/deleted what I said.  That being said, believe what you believe.  Perhaps you can enlighten us all how the mining farms can just happen to end up with thousands of EVGA branded cards. It's quite incredible.  How did they manage the queue, retailers, and other channels so much better that so many hundreds and thousands of people are on the queue waiting to build their only gaming rig?  Please enlighten us.

See, a distributor or a si would prefer to offload tons of cards to mining farms. It's quick money and no support needed. Win win right?

I have seen couple of 3080 Ads stating they are "Older" models that has no hash rate limiter coming with 2K+, other newer models are as you said, add to that that ETH is slowing down in mining now badly, some people are getting 50% of what they used to harvest before if not less, also less people are interested, if that slope keeps going like so, them queues will be fulfilled in no time, worthy to mention I had two cards from EVGA queue and both cards took nearly 6 months to be ordered.

I don't know what kind of proof us mere consumers could possibly have as to distribution deals from EVGA short of working for them -- but why would anyone think they do *not* have such deals to ship mass amounts of product to the "miners"?  Their sales leaders should be fired if they did not maximize those channels.  They wouldn't even have volume discounts - they'd charge premiums as long as they delivered product.

There's a trickle out to the rabid fanbase via these notify queues to engender some loyalty.  It's a pittance, but still miles beyond the other manufacturers.

I got tired of waiting, so I rebuilt a 2016 build in a new case that my wife got me this past Christmas just so I could satiate the hobby. Now, back to the waiting game.

unfortunately waiting is all we have that is guaranteed at this point. Heck, I'm almost 2 minutes away from the 3080TI and I have no faith that the supposedly "big drop" this week will result in my card finally being able to be purchased.

Thanks. That moves the queue forward. At least it is only a 3060, so don't feel too bad.
I just checked out the Amazon Prime day offers and the prices (shipping from Amazon) are about double the prices here at EVGA website. lol
I think EVGA notifications are the best way to get a card, except maybe the trade up program.
We can dream about the dropping Crypto prices causing fewer cards to go to miners, but its only a dream.

I don't trust that website at all. There's no telling how many people are actually in front of you. But if you notified yesterday, it's likely to be months. Are you trying to say that the website is saying you're 114th in line? Because there's absolutely no way that is possible if so. Sorry I don't have better news.

I would respond to that email stating your intent to purchase and call EVGA customer service when they open in a few hours. They have been simply incredible at helping out people who missed their notification emails and have responded in a reasonable time. They will likely send you a new link to purchase your card. What RMV said. eVGA has generated new invitations for people months after they missed their 8 hour window.

I did, and after some debates (I live outside of US, but was gonna ship to my friend in Florida, and pay with US credit card), I lost hope that they will reopen it for me. Only to find out the next day that they did, but alas it was too late, again :D didn't ask the third time.
It's pretty unfair tbh, why let me register on your website, enter the queue, wait for months, and THEN find out that I won't be able to purchase the product, idk.
My friend managed to grab one card from EVGA.
To do so was the real pain in the you know where:
1) transfer money to our mate in FL, pay the transfer tax.
2) FL has sales tax, so 3060 + sales tax
3) Pay for the shipping from FL to freight service address (evga doesn't ship to forwarding addresses, no idea why. Amazon, Ebay, Newegg all do it np)
4) Then pay for the shipping to our country
5) Then pay import taxes
pretty sad story am I right?

Yeah it would be much helpful to provide ANY information. Sorry to say, but the European customers are treated like customers 2nd class. No informations, no proper supply, nothing. I signed up for 3090 quene last year half an hour after launch and still got nothing. I signed up for 3080ti and 3070ti just to get the chance to buy ANY card. If you dont want us to be customers then its fine, just tell us and we can go out and hunt for asus, gigabyte and so on, because they at least provide big portions of cards every few days to european customers and store here in europe. My patience has gotten low with you and even if iam a real BIG Fan of EVGA and buying cards from your company for over 10 years now im starting to be fed up with all that waiting stuff.
Yeah i know harsh words, but truth always hurts. We got two guys on our Spreadsheets that still cant buy their card because that freakin link is broken for a week now. Sorry to say but thats just BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. For all of us european customers it feels like were more an annoying pain for you as we are customers youre happy about to have.

My Specs:

Quadrouple Monitor @7680 x1440p Setup with one on top.

I really don't understand why European citizens are treated in (what I see as) unfair way.
Regardless of good intentions from EVGA, this situation resulted in unfair treatment that nobody would like to (or should) experience.
It would be fair to hear from EVGA what are the reasons for such behavior.

Only thing I can think of is they are a NA based company.  It's easier for people this side of the pond to make a headache for EVGA than people from around the world.  You should be upset at other card producers for not doing the same thing for their particular regions.

Just my 2 cents, spend it any way you want to.
