I'm in need of the original BIOS Rom files for both switch positions:
 
Card's  BIOS: 84.04.36.00.70
04G-P4-3975-B6
 
Where can I download these files?

    Look at the vbios sticker on the back of the card, and see if you can match it to one of the vbios listed on the above page. That would be the original vbios. You may need to look under a backplate if your card has one to see the vbios sticker.

    thank you for pointing me there.
     
    Techpowerup offers several bios versions of the GTX 970 AC 2.0 SSC model but even the same version numbers differ in their content and checksum.
     
    There is no guarantee that the user uploaded bios versions on any third party website are original and safe to use.
     
    I'm looking for a download link or to receive the files from the manufacturer itself.
     
    Under the driver / bios section in the downloads area of the evga homepage only drivers are offered for downloading. Why aren't the original bios files offered there like mainboard and other gpu manufacters do on their websites?

    The ones listed on the techpowerup page I listed have been verified. Evga has never linked the original vbios on their download page. If you want to get the original vbios from them then you’ll need to contact tech support via phone or e-mail.

    If the ORIGINAL manufacturer does NOT provide the original vbios through tech support then NEVER, EVER buy from them again. ONLY garbage companies on this planet FAIL to provide 100% TOTAL customer support. There are no exceptions to this rule. I learned this from 50 years of running my company with over 10,000+ business clients & suing various companies over the last 50 years & they have lost 100% of the time because the supreme court judges' decisions cannot be appealed & those companies lost big time due to breaking warranty laws & failing to support their consumers 100% of the time. I also learned about shill lawyers/shill staff that only care about the company they work for vice the morally & ethically correct thing to do for the consumer.

    If you want the official BIOS from EVGA, you have to contact EVGA.

    What happened to your card that you need the BIOS again?
    Did you try and flash it with a overclocked custom BIOS?
