Hi, I am helping a friend with a evga 3080ti ftw3 that has no display but powers on, I have tried all 3 DP and the hdmi, tried it in a few different systems. When it is unplugged and plugged back in the monitor on dp will light up for a second like it is putting out something but does nothing. I have tried every bios setting I can find. I can see it in hwinfo and gpuz on a system with another card. I have updated the vbios from techpowerup. On one mobo the vga debug light is on and on another I can get it to not have the vga debug light on but still no display. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

I'm guessing you've tried multiple dp cables that are vesa certified? Along with trying different hdmi cables too? Made sure the monitors were set to the correct source? Tried different monitors too? Made sure fast boot is disabled in bios, and windows fast startup is disabled? This may be your issue as well... https://nvidia.custhelp.c...ate-tool-for-displayid

Thank you, I will try that displayid update tomorrow. I have used multiple cables, monitors, tvs. not sure if they are certified but my 3090 works fine from them.

also, make sure you reinstall the Nvidia driver clear Windows fast startup file (hold shift key down, before you select shutdown in Windows, keep that "shift" down until full power off of PC) & have Fast Boot Off in the MB's BIOS settings

Hello, thanks for the recommendations. The displayid tool said it was already done, and still nothing. I tried holding down shift while shutting down and nothing. I also did the ddu and still no luck. My next thought is a chip or component on the board is bad.

Did you test Both BIOS positions on the GPU? (FTW3 has a BIOS switch) Can you see or smell any damage to card? Does it look like card got wet? Test, change MB's BIOS -->> -Change boot mode from UEFI to Legacy Did you see this & try the different fixes listed? Comprehensive Windows 10 Black Screen Trouble shooting Guide You mention flashing the BIOS in the first thread: (I hope you disabled CSM on the MB you used to flash the GPU. Note: All 3080Ti Had a ReBar BIOS, from EVGA) https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3407542Disable CSM in your motherboard BIOS, or you run the risk of getting a black screen at boot. For FTW3 cards, which you can flip the switch on the card to go to a non-ReBAR BIOS, you can quickly fix this and get picture again. However, for those of you with an XC3 card, you only get one BIOS, and it will likely lead to an RMA if CSM is not disabled. Note - It's true that you could run into some issues with booting into your OS or legacy hardware if you disable CSM. However, you can resolve those issues by re-enabling CSM. If you discover that you have an issue when you disable CSM, it's far better to learn what you need to do to fix those issues before you flash your card to an unrecoverable state. Plenty of people on this forum can help you figure out what you need to do to get your system ready for Resizable BAR.

Yes, I had tried both switch positions. I had CSM enabled, the only way i could see the card was with an old gtx550ti. when i boot into windows with the onboard gpu I dont see the 3080ti in device manager, when I use the old card I do. Is it bricked with CSM enabled?

You could test that theory by just disabling CSM when using the 3080Ti to see what happens.

With just the 3080ti i still get the same result in the pc, only can see it in windows with another card plugged in, with only it plugged in it wont post, stops with red light on mobo for vga diag.
