Vivifiedstriker Am I right in thinking 3090's apart from Kingpin cards are hardly moving at all? I signed up for 3090 XC3 Ultra 10/6 6am pst, looks like its been sitting at 10/5 for awhile.
The 3090 FTW3 Ultra moved a little in 2021, but otherwise...basically right. Hopefully that changes today!
I've been buying EVGA cards for about a decade now and one thing I've noticed watching all these posts is the FTW3's seem to be moving more than most other variants. Makes sense EVGA would put focus on those as those are the cards they are known for aside from the old classified and now kingpin cards.

I am going out on a limb but I am not expecting any movement in the Hybrid cards until at least next week maybe even longer. Jacobs tweets don't make me very hopeful that it will even be next week.

Has there been any new cards out in the last couple of weeks lol? Been really busy with work so have not been watching this thread, but only had a couple of people use my associate code for weeks so I figured stock must be near non existent since new years. I was looking through the product pages and it looks like there's almost no stock of anything at all, except a couple of Z490 boards (which are discounted right now btw - might be an Elite thing). I thought things would improve after the Christmas - New Year break, but apparently not! EVGA must have a near empty warehouse with perhaps a couple of boxes standing in a corner somewhere and staff just hanging out looking very lonely waiting for something to happen.

his response to someone asking about those cards and I am summarizing here not a direct quote "Maybe next week." And it did not specify what hybrid cards. And I am focusing on the word MAYBE this is a nice term to use when you don't know and you just want to kick the can down the road a bit. This way if some do drop or don't drop he would be covered in his statement both ways. Maybe is also used when they do know that nothing is going to drop but don't want to say that because it is easier to kick the can down the road and stops the conversation.

No because that is referring to the Hydro Coppers not the Hybrids he did respond to the Hybrids directly it was a few days back in this thread was the screen shots of that twitter response.

Not a chance, the black barely moved. I think there was only one official drop. And that was by Christmas.

For those two cards? Sadly, it is unlikely to happen. Sorry I don't have better news.

Probably not unfortunately. The 3080 FTW3 Ultra is the 3080 moving the most.

I'm late but I'm around... Good luck on the drops today guys, just some reminders: - Don't forget to use an Associate's Code during checkout, it will save you 3% off your GPU purchase, and up to 10% on other purchases. All you have to do is use the code at checkout (a few useful ones: Mine: 47AQQ6KPU2IZNXY - Enewt's: VDN2319M4O569J4 ) or click the links there & it will make a cookie to insert the code automatically during checkout, then when you receive your card, be sure to register it & upload your invoice from the EVGA order page. My eVGA bucks from this in particular will be going to a Z590 Dark board, so I appreciate anyone that uses my code greatly ;)
- Keep in mind if you're ordering a Hybrid card: the tubing is 400mm in length, and the radiator + fan combo is about 56mm thick; Hybrid card radiator exhaust can be in excess of 34-41C air, having it setup as intake is not recommended even in a CPU AIO/GPU AIO setup, as unless you have a very high core count CPU that puts out more than 400W of heat, the GPU radiator will always be the hotter of the two.
- If you purchase a card elsewhere, it's best not to remove your notify queues until you receive the card, just to be on the safe side, as if you do remove it then have to requeue, you would be at the back of the line. Once you receive your card & remove yourself from other queues, kindly let us know which cards you removed yourself from queue for, so that others in those queues know they've effectively moved up a spot.
- It is recommended that you have, at the bare minimum, a quality 750W (or in my opinion, 850W) PSU for a 3080, and at least a 850W (or in my opinion, 1000W) PSU for a 3090, especially if you plan to overclock your CPU and/or other components at all. Keep in mind that OCed CPUs quickly go up in power draw in most cases, i.e. a 95W TDP CPU like a 9900K can get up to 170-190W of draw from a simple 5GHz OC like mine. Even if you're running a 3080 on a stock system, I would definitely recommend against going with less than 750W at a bare minimum, just to avoid any future issues.

As a XC3 Black brother to another, keep your hopes up, but you might want to expand to other models...

The only thing Jacob has said about the hybrids is that supply is going to be very limited for the foreseeable future. If your time stamp for a 3898 is after 9:05, I suggest looking for another card unless you MUST have that card and nothing else will do. If your time stamp is < 9:05, consider it a win if you get one before summer. The queue is going to creep along a few seconds at a time. My time stamp for the 3898 is closer to 9:09. I highly doubt that I ever get one. I will end up getting another card before I see a 3898 appear at my doorstep.

I'm at 9:09:36 (or something very close to that) for the 3898, and this is disheartening. I thought it was my best shot before I ship out. Huge bummer.

I know, it sucks. The queue is bottle necked in the 9:03-9:05 time slots based on how the sheet for the hybrids is populated. It's going to take a while for it to get through there, especially since drops have been so infrequent, today being no exception.

Per Jacob a couple minutes ago, there won't be a 3898 drop today either. Such defeat.
