So how close are you? My coupon expired on Saturday and I am approximately 15 seconds out on the 3953 as of Friday. I expect I will probably be able to get one this week, last week would have been great. I was really hoping to save some money but the price is at least better than other brands so I am not completely upset. I was honestly a little surprised the coupon would work on a graphics card TBH.

I spent my weekend driving to and from a soccer tournament. Our team finished well, but it wasn't enough to overcome some pretty tough losses in the round robin. But I couldn't be prouder of enewt jr. and her compatriots.
 
I hope your weekend was similarly filled with highs, lows, admiration, humility and fun. I hope there was a lot of fun.

In other news I'm kinda bummed. UPS always gives me a delivery window between 11am & 3PM. They always are closer to 3PM. I got an email that they attempted delivery at 10:45. Darn it! I was planning to be home by noon. Now I have to wait a minimum of another day for my kingpin.

I had the opposite experience...UPS delivered my kingpin card in the rain and did not require a signature as requested...I was pretty upset..fortunately, evga wraps all cards in a plastic bag. I have started having all UPS packages over $1k delivered to my local UPS store. You just go in to your UPS account, add the tracking numbers, and request them to hold your package at a local store

Unfortunately, even before the pandemic madness and component shortages, there was no realist way for AiBs to hit that price and still make worthwhile profit.  Nvidia has them between a rock and a hard place as Nvidia sets the MSRP and the price at which price the AIBs buy the GPU chips.

Finally received my first notify, but I'll be passing on it.  I never imagined I'd get a notification for a 3080 Ti before a 3080.  Looks like mostly 3080 Ti's are being produced (based on what has been on NewEgg Shuffle for a while).  Guess I'll never get the 3080.

Two weeks ago I was able to grab a RTX 3080ti FTW3 Ultra from the Newegg shuffle(nothing else added to it). But today a 2:07 pm (est) I received an email notification  from EVGA  for the same gpu. I'm not ordering another one, I hope it will go to someone that really wants it. Its sad it took me 11 months to grab any type of 3080.When I was without a proper gaming gpu for over 5 months when my old GTX 1080 crapped out back in November last year., Was able to grab a 6700xt for only a couple hundred over MSRP back in April to hold me over. Now that card is being sold to someone that built a pc and cant find a gpu without being scalped. Time stamp for the gpu is below.
