I can set voltage to 100% and reach 1.100 V but it reduces my average clock speed and in turn I lose about 8-9% fps.. I don't know a whole lot about how the voltage affects the overclock but every part of my card is super cool under full load, even the memory junction temp. I have the FTW3 ultra 3090 with the hybrid kit that I modded with my own paste and different/extra thermal pads. So I'm wondering if I might gain performance by undervolting..

I dont know but me iam not stable gaming at 2100mhz if i drop the voltage, i can have frame drop issue coz it need more voltage, like in the game shadow of the tomb raider, if i drop voltage at 1.075v i got frame drop. If i put back at 1.1v iam ok, but this is at 2100mhz always in game. Sometime can go at 2115mhz.

I saw this a few week ago in this forum and nothing till today
It carries more weight coming from Jacob as he’s the Global Product Management Director at EVGA and not some random EVGA customer support person like a few weeks ago. But we’ll have to wait and see. If I had to guess, I think we’ll be seeing a PCB revision very soon that will come with the HydroCopper cards. Explains why they’ve been delayed so long and why the HydroCopper blocks may not be sold separately due to “technical reasons” according to Jacob (maybe incompatible with the the first version of the PCBs is my assumption).

Just got a 3090 KPE. My prior 3090 FTW3 Ultra - has the load balancing problem. I could never find a solution.
KPE - similar problem (430w limit). UNTIL: classified tool to increase msvdd. Increasing to 1.1v - from stock - results in power draw up to 540w, with a concomitant increase in performance to actually meet what would be expected from a clock speed perspective.
With stock msvdd - limited to 430w and scores are also quite low - despite sustained clock speeds close to 2200mhz.
With msvdd at 1.1v - 540w draw - sustained clocks, and performance in benches that are much better than stock msvdd.
I think someone else posted this information in the KPE thread - but thought I would share findings as I've had this issue from the beginning and have been till now resigned to fate that EVGA has not addressed publicly.

MSVDD and MVDDC are not the same thing. MVDDC=FBVDDC=memory power rail wattage (the voltage for this can also can be changed in the classified tool)
MSVDD=SRam voltage / Uncore voltage. I believe this also has some sort of internal power limit associated with it, unless it's only voltage (I don't know enough about the bios). Because HWinfo64 can see the MSVDD/NVVDD current rails via "TDP Normalized" but can't see the individual values.

I just purchased an EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra and have now read multiple black screen of death issues. I am not even in the USA. If this does happen to me, is there a way to diagnose and see "if" my card will develop this issue? Also how will warranty support work. Card was purchased from Amazon and then sold to me on the forums. Really worried about it as it makes it way all the way to UAE from USA. :(

the card should have amazon warranty then and no problems, best when EVGA warranty...
E-mail customer support to see if you can register your video card with EVGA to take advantaged of benefits of a EVGA warranty since you not in US you need contact customer service to how this handled.

You can flash it. You can try to adjust the voltage, and it might look like it is - but nothing actually changes on a non-KP card.

How many Mh/s are you getting? You should try and undervolt the core for better power efficiency. If my PC was in another room I would mine with my 3090. At this power level this card will last forever but seems like you could lower watts even further with minimal loss of hash rate.
