Adorama is in Brooklyn so that definitely lines up. Did you see that on your order page or where?

Also adorama hasn’t been on holiday since release, you really think nvidia and the other board partners are going to wait a month to stop them? There’s a direct link on the evga site to adorama, not like they have no idea they exist.

Adorama is in Manhattan but their warehouse is in New Jersey.

My friend had a PNY order from OD for like two weeks now. They canceled him this morning.

Why are they cancelling orders?

I was actually one of the first few people who got their backorders in Adorama as soon as it went up and everytime I check for an eta of my FTW3 ultra, they couldn't tell me anything.  Until someone on discord said that they got a hold of someone in Adorama and was able to get a rough estimate of mid November for supplies from their distributor.  If I could get one from evga.com, i'd be cancelling my backorder in Adorama for the FTW3 Ultra.

Maybe something might be coming down the road... (Take it with a grain of salt.)

Looks like about $1600 for a 3080 FTW3 on ebay and they are selling.

Going to give Adorama a couple more weeks then I'm doing it. NewEgg drops are a joke and no one who hit auto notify after the 17th here is getting an email to buy for weeks - months.

That’s crazy to me. I want this card a lot but I’m not going to piss away $800 to get it a month or two sooner. That’s like a round trip ticket to Europe...

When you make a dumb decision like me to sell your 2080Ti and now have no GPU, it is what it is. And at this point, the step up program is months out too. So buying a 2XXX to get by is out of the question too.

They’re overpriced considering the 3080 performance but I would rather pay $1000 for a 2080 super and wait 4 months for step up then pay $1600 for a 3080.

Nah. I want a 3080 before CP2077. No matter what the cost is.

I mean you do you, but that mindset pretty much guarantees that this will happen again for the 4000 cards in two years.

My first Witcher 3 play through was garbage 1080p on the Xbox one, that didn’t change how awesome it looked when I played through it again in 4K a few years later on my pc.

It's a pretty simply thing to avoid. These companies need to stop being so worried about launching a product for the sake of saying it's out that they don't bother ever worrying about if they have the supply to meet demand. Especially in this case. Nvidia knew if they came in with a card at this performance level for $700-$800 that they basically hit the jackpot. They still made the decision to launch while knowing full well they couldn't meet 1% of the demand.

Nvidia messed this up, absolutely, but I doubt it’s a simple fix. Everyday nvidia makes people wait, the more likely they are to switch to AMD. If they could have prevented it, they would have.

It’s just good business. It’s not like nvidia has jacked up the msrp to take advantage of the crazy demand. They aren’t seeing extra money because certain retailers increased the price.

I'm dropping out of the ftw3 grab me a vision so one more ftw3 ultra free up.

That card looks sick, makes me wish I had a nice clean all white setup to put it in.

I wish i would of went with a white build but no white with my case or mobo i was so sick of waiting and it was the only card in stock there also a new drop at 10pst on bestbuy for anyone looking for this card.

You could literally buy a used 2080 Ti with a waterblock, new case and decent custom loop for $1600.

Everytime Adorama sends me an email about their camera **** I die inside.

I think I screwed up back ordering a FTW3 Gaming and not an Ultra. I don't think I've seen anything but Ultras available anywhere as far as the FTW3 goes. I might be waiting even longer if they aren't producing those yet or as many.
