I assume you were able to get a card elsewhere? Otherwise, there's no reason at all to cancel. They don't charge you until it ships and the likelihood of finding one before they do seems pretty slim currently.

Me too!  I feel truly blessed.

I just accepted that I'm not getting this back order any time soon.
Ordered a 2070 Super from newegg and will just wait it out in the step up program. I'm sure the step up program is months backlogged too, but it will still probably be faster than waiting for my purchase email, which at this rate I highly doubt ill receive before January - February of next year.

Yep, exactly. Just make sure the card is an evga 2070 and is shipped and sold by an authorized retailer.
For example, a card that is shipped and sold from Amazon will work. But a card that is shipped by Amazon but sold by a 3rd party will not work.
If in doubt, call evga to make sure.

I'm not canceling my back order just yet, but at this point I feel defeated with it. I mean, the card I back ordered literally hasn't even been brought to market yet so...it's not coming any time soon.

I have not. I did the preorder on the FTW3 release day. At this point I'm only ~10 slots away from the FTW3 notify queue, so it seems that'll be the way I get my card and I'll probably cancel my Adorama order.

Whats model are u ordered?
I also check my order from adorama yesterday, my EVGA xc3 3080 gaming have no estimated day they said.

My order is for the MSI Gaming X Trio.  I would imagine different manufacturers have different dates. 

Interdasting.  I keep saying I'm going to cancel the order and wait for the 3080 Ti next year.  Probably a wise move.

My FE came today so I just cancelled my FTW3 ultra. Hopefully that helps someone else get it sooner.
