Customs is run by your Government ... no idea if they opened the box ?  
 
You could ask them if they Mark / give/ include written notice - when they officially open a package for inspection
 

 
This is in the US, so Im not really sure either, just really weird why Adorama would break the seal. There wasn't any notices/marks so I guess it may not be customs. 
 
Also thanks again for the image upload guide, definitely helps.

My XC3 seal was also intact when I got mine from Adorama.
 
However, as with others here, I didn't get the Watchdog or GeForce Now codes, and neither Adorama nor EVGA are willing to do anything about it.  Trying nVidia next, but I expect to get rebuffed there.

Clearly it's not customs releated.  I would run GPU-Z to verify it's the GPU you purchased just in case it was swamped.  If all is clear, enjoy your new GPU but I would make a complain and see if I could get it priced as an open box.

Use their chat function to ask. They are great about responding.

lol, good one.  I have, many times... and I get the same exact answer every time - No ETA
 

Yeah, I've probably asked at least 4 or 5 times now and get the same bs "no ETA from manufacturer" story."

If they don't ship mine in like a week (which I'm sure they won't) I'll have to cancel. I'm already in the step up system and will be beyond the point I can return my current card. Don't want to deal with having to sell it on the used market.

No, I mean I don't want to deal with selling my 2070 Super. I'm sure you aren't interested in that. lol
 
Unless you mean just do the step up and wait for the Adorama card and you want the Adorama card. 
 
I honestly think the cards will be purchasable for anyone by the time I get mine from Adorama. It's a 3080 FTW3 Gaming...which EVGA doesn't seem to be producing any of at all currently. And I really don't think that's going to change until Nvidia can provide way, way more chips than they currently are.

I chatted with them yesterday morning.  So last week a CSR said they would be getting a shipment this week on 3080 FTW Ultras.  Yesterday, when I asked if they got a shipment, they gave me their normal we don't have any estimates line.  So it sounds like depending which CSR you get, they'll give you a little more info or not.
 
Anyhow, I lucked into getting a 3080 FE at best buy yesterday.  So I'll be canceling my adorama order.
 
Really wanted an EVGA, but I want to get off this carrousel.  Painful launch.

So if Adorama can't tell us anything about the incoming EVGA shipments maybe the good folks at EVGA can???????  It doesn't even need to be specific, I would just like to know if we are talking this year or next?
