I hear that there have a large list of backorders but from what i have been told, they dont charge until they ship. If you are able to score one before they ship or have any in stock, you should be able to cancel. May be worth it for ease of mind.

I also see they are not taking unlimited back orders! Might be that they're taking orders for only what they know they have coming which is great as it might ship pretty soon!

Ordered a 3080 FTW3 Ultra, got a confirmation email. We'll see. Website reports "Item - EV10G53897KR exceeded the warehouse quantity limit". It might allow you order other cards.

Why isn't Evga doing this on their webstore? I would rather just pre-order directly from Evga. Come on Evga, that way your website doesn't crash when stock comes in due to the mad rush. I almost had one checked out yesterday @ 6am PST, even went through the Paypal page and it failed on redirect. What a collosal waste of time with nothing to show.

If they had 3090 FTW preorders that would backorder if stock runs out, I'd order with them and just not worry about things. It's under the authorized retailer so I could still grab my 10 year here.

Noice. Just make sure you come back to EVGA and grab the extended warranty within the 90 days if you are going that route, which I hope you are. 5/10 years for hardly peanuts works nicely.
