I just bought a 3090 FTW3 Ultra, it was the only one that I could find, I did auto notify for XC3 at the same time but only got the email for the FTW3 Ultra and went ahead and bought it.
I didn't realize when I did there seem to be no waterblocks for this card or as far as I can tell any FTW3 cards
Is this true, if so who is making one and when would it be available?

Jacob said there should be hybrid kits for cards in November I believe. But time will tell. Idk anyone else who has announced blocks yet. I suspect they are having the same issues we all are about getting the card in the first place. Without the card they may not be able to do the dev they need to to make the blocks.

I guess that makes sense...I didn't think about this card being harder to acquire than others. Ironically it was the only one I had any chance of getting because of EVGA's queue. I tried hundreds of times to buy 3080/3090 cards but the bots buy the restocked cards in seconds, or the site crashes. Guess I should be grateful I got one at all, it was just a lot more than I wanted to pay and not being able to watercool for the foreseeable future is a bummer...

Well that's good, but "a matter of weeks" is quite vague and can easily become 2 - 3 months. I got a response from EKWB and they basically said same thing, they are working on a block but no release date yet. I'd think if it were really a matter of two or three weeks they could tell me "We're expecting availability end of October" or whatever.

I'm on the fence on this also, I could go for a FTW3 Ultra 3090 but if there is no aftermarket waterblock support or if that turns out I would have to wait several weeks, then no. I would rather wait for the Hydrocopper.

Assuming you could get a Hydro Copper. Have you tried buying 3080/3090s? They're gone in seconds. If you aren't a botter it's almost impossible. I've tried hundreds of times. Managed to get to checkout on some sites but they just crash when I submit the order. Maybe with EVGA's auto notify queue you can get the card you want now, but I'd guess botters just make fake email addresses and grab all the first spots in the queue. I hope you get one I'd just be going in assuming it's a long shot. I checked out Bykski on AliExpress and they made a block for the 2080 Ti FTW3 as well as earlier cards, so they may also be planning on one eventually. I guess right now there isn't a ton of demand for water blocks because so few people have cards in hand though.

Survey for Watercool-Block lets go vote if you want a nice one for the FTW3,
I think Strix will get it, much more cards available in Europe
I nominated FTW3 also. The other three cards on the list--Strix, Tuf, Gaming X Trio-- already have available waterblocks from EKWB or Alphacool (and other companies). There may be more Strix in Europe but there is also more competition. If they are first to market with FTW3 there is no competition.

Yep - just bought one because it was the only one available. just talked to EK and they are saying late november for their wb. Grateful EVGA did a queue system and not having to constantly hitting refresh on newegg, etc. Brian

Do we know yet if EVGA is going to offer JUST the Hydro Copper block for the people that got an air cooled cards? I've been Skulking around Jacob's forum posts for a while now, and see no confirmation with him, or on the EVGA site. I'm not really interested in the hybrid one.

I can also confirm this -- I asked a CS rep on the 6th and they told me that, quote, "FTW3 block should be available this month".
