Hello everyone!

been quite a while since i came here and its its with sad news!  i inform that my Legendary GTX 1080 Ti died last Friday 2nd FEV ( while playing AC: Mirage)
i was forced to upgrade to a newer GFX card compatible with my old PSU, so i went for a RTX 4060Ti 16GB (Dual - advanced edition) from Asus!
i am not happy with this! i'm not even sure i will try to repair my Old GTX 1080 Ti

i activated the resizable bar... but i dont understand what this means in terms of performance... i see no increase in fps!
and in GPU Z shows i have 3 resizable bar Sizes >> BAR0 , BAR1 and BAR2  with different values assigned to each >> 16MB, 16GB and 32Mb respectively!

could you explain to me whats the benefits of this resizable bar and why i have 3 sizes to use?  thank you so much in advanced

Not all applications take advantage of rebar.

Thanks for the answer!
Guess i will not notice any improvement at all in most games.
read a bit more on the subject and seems there is only a small amount of them that indeed support this REbar function!
not gonna tire myself trying to find out witch games tho!

i will leave this function turned ON the BIOS! ...guess it will do no harm

either way this RTX 4060 Ti is a joke... only bought it cause its compatible with my old system Psu requirements
a bitter "upgrade"

Even Applications that do take advantage of it , they might get a 1% improvement, it was more about a benchmark score and it was Nvidia's response to AMD's claims of using infinity fabric, more of a marketing thing.

The resizable BAR was a way to tweak a little more performance for free.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

thank you so much for the replies.

from what i gathered online there can be from no noticeable improvement up to quite more FPS
it really really depends on the game..

guess most do no support it
not very useful in fact... but its activated in BIOS
