Ok I know this is not about the kingpin, but I was able to get an asus strix rog 3090 through Newegg shuffle. If you are far back on the list and don’t want to wait I’m 47 right now so hopefully will get mine by may. I will sale that asus card for what I have for it because I’m not some sorry scalper. So if you want to buy it let me know. I’ll take PayPal and probably ship priority and ask for a signature so I know you got it.

Not sure it is fair... Your statement. EVGA is the only company that has a close to working system. Same as for security, you will never get a 100% effective solution... Ever. As I work in the software industry (as a software developer engineer). The real question is not "if" but "when" the system will be broken. It cost 10% of the price to do 90% of a feature, and the 90% of the cost is the last 10%... I am not an EVGA fanboy, I actually never bought from them from the past. But one thing I know for sure, it is the company I trust the most. And think about it, why are they opening a company? To make money... Not to give it away. Maybe all the queue system and the fact they are swallowing partially or entirely the 25% of the tax temporarily... Could be a pure PR stunt... And so what it works they gain my trust. Yes miners and bots and scalpers will have some... Maybe most of it... How much will it cost and who will pay for the solutions??? You when you buy from them. I am already waiting for month and what piss me off the most... Is this kind of free rant. I love the way EVGA deal with the situation... What is your solution? Out.

I don’t think that’s fair, the last reported movement on the kingpin was back to back on 3/10 and 3/11. Yes, there hasn’t been a reported notification email for 2 weeks and several days, but there has been movement. In fact, it looks like there’s been 35-40 kingpin drops per month since the start, and March is no different. Is it taking longer than everyone foresaw and wishes? Yes, absolutely, but them’s the break these days.

The line does move, it's just that the queue list Enewt and others maintains is only based on voluntary sharing of information. Your position on the list is constantly moving backwards because others who went into the queue before you didn't initially share their info and once they do it moves you back until the next drop. Once the product drops, then you can move closer to getting one. Then teh cycle starts over again with the movements back due to late sharing of info. The truth is like Mech9T5 shared, enjoy the card you have. My bit of advice would be to not look at your position so much. I'll look more as I get closer to the front of the line, but I'm no where near the front at this point so no use watching the grass grow when I can do other things. Seeing yourself move backwards can drive you nuts if you are impatient.

The KP line moves more than the others from what I have seen. If you're going to bash EVGA when they have done nothing but be awesome and handle this situation the best they can you should remove your notify and let someone who actually loves EVGA get the card instead. It's already been debunked over cards being made for miners or that miners are getting them all.

From pass drops, we've seen between 20 to 30 drops, and as high as 65 drops (happened once or twice).

Yeah I'm at a point (rx470 here) that I signup for all cards but the 6700 versions hahaha... When I will get my hands on a KP I will resell what I got for what I paid to the next soul that is awaiting for some awesomeness... If I get lucky of course. Good thing I see the scalping price on 5950X going down on offer up, maybe soon to be available more like the 5800x

Ryzen chips should be working their way down to normal levels soon. Miners don't really need that many CPUs as they hook up multiple GPUs to one processor based on what I've seen. I actually didn't get why the Ryzen 5000 series cpus were in such low stock quantities. I can see why the GPUs were, but here's hoping for those who wanted to get the 5900 or 5950s will be able to get them. I initially wanted the 5900x, but had to settle for the 5600 in my initial build since they were so hard to get back in January. Since then, I was able to snag a 5800x at retail from Amazon so I'll be using that when I rebuild my rig to add the open loop and then selling my 5600x. I would love to have the 5900x, but can't keep losing money upgrading cpus at this point. I'm sure I'll be fine with my 5800x since I'll have more than enough cooling capacity in my open loop system.

Well multiple reason for that CPU shortages... Spot on for miners, as they actually probably won't even uses any latest CPU as they are not in use.
But most of it seems to be the fact that Milan Epic seems to use the same chiplet and that a 5950x can do 2 5800X and 1 5900X can do 2 5600X... Best use on Epyc or on making more CPUs overall. Not sure that is the reality, but seems quite logical to me at least 😁
