I want to build my first custom loop, but haven't been able to find any waterblocks for the 3090 Kingpin in stock anywhere. Did I just miss my window of ever being able to buy one?
My first choice is the Hydrocopper kit, and I think EKWB has an active backplate that works and is still available, but I'm not finding anything hopeful.
Any ideas?

Optimus stopped theirs because people kept having problems. Byski ended up not making one. You are stuck unless you find a hydro or used optimus block. I was almost able to get an optimus off a memeber but he ended up getting a refund. Still waiting to find one pop up.

HAHA, I would include everything , still have 4 years warrantee on the card but the block warrantee is expired

I can't even get replacements and I have been trying for a year. Be thankful you at least have a working cooler! I have two golden silicon lottery gpus and no coolers.

It could be worse if you had two duds. I have my block but my KP is a dud and fell well below my expectations. It's been reliable for gaming, but after going through what I did to get mines and the prices I paid for the gpu and then the block along with the wait for it and going through the initial leaks its been more than I wanted for the small performance gain over the 3090 FTW3 ultra I had.
I would still try and email Optimus to see if they can do a one off for you. You never know and they might be able to help you. After the change of the gaskets, mines has been problem free.

Thank you all for the comments. I am in a similar situation to CyberbrainPC where I got an amazing card, but now that I can do a full loop I can't find parts.

Op, the hc kit is a great looking piece of hardware imo. I’ve always been a big fan of the block designs. Performance is ok, hate to say it. The AIO actually does a really good job for what it is but totally get staying 100% loop. There is a significant thread about backplate cooling on the 3090 kpe that is worth scanning if you’re looking for creative ways to scrape a few C here and there and are new to this card. I might be making a deal with my brother to use my KPE and he might want it with the Hybrid cooler , freeing up HC block, PM me after Monday and I will let you know if I have one available.

Thanks for the idea, I might have to try that, though $1200 is a lot, especially when 4090's are on the verge of release.
