All you need is money to buy another.  People are reselling these like hotcakes on ebay right now or have a friend who is Elite register and stand in line for one too.  Easy 1k over their cost on ebay to obtain the card.

If it makes you feel any better, there is a large group of us industry insiders, overclockers, and tech enthusiasts who are doing everything we can to help combat the scumbag bots, scalpers, scammers, and miners out there. We have been working very hard since day one to helpout our fellow gamers, enthusiasts who are hurting so bad. I have personally given up a lot of personal income had I just dumped our retail SKU's on the open market, amazon/ebay like we normally do. Times are tough tho for sure. If you or anyone you know are local to PDX or Seattle I might be able to get you on a list (I am now only keeping a list for 10 slots as it is pointless to keep a list a mile long at this point, and everyone has to check in daily) for a new GPU at or near MSRP.  TIMES ARE TOUGH.

I just asked a guy if he really need to make 2k off the Kingpin card And he said he was going to report me for harassment I am trying to get one at a decent place like 1k over but 2k is insane

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums but I am not new to EVGA products as I currently have a FTW 970, and I was looking at the product page for the Kingpin, but I don't see anywhere to sign up to be notified. Is that how you get in the queue? It says for elite members only so I'm not sure how I could attempt to purchase one of them.

Oooof. Thank you. Guess I'd have to wait a lot time anyway. Will it always be elite members only, or do you think it's only because of the shortage? I definitely don't want to spam the forums.

I've had this account since 2007 and only recently opened it up in early March 2021 and again today. What's a day or two or 14 years?

I'm guessing I could "back-register" my (2) 1070ti FTW & (2) 1070sc from...um...2017?  To get on the Elite Membership 411? Other than an MSI 1660 in 2019, I've been buying EVGA video cards since BEFORE 2007. Maybe back to the VESA era, I think.
 
Here's another reason I'm posting: DON'T BLAME THE MINERS; BLAME THE TRUE SCUM OF THE EARTH: SCALPERS!
the_Scarlet_one 's "Public Service Announcements" are spot-on and that has been the OC Scene since I built my first rig in 1993 (a $5000+ Windows NT 3.1 beast!): Go big...BIG, or go home! The Extreme OC crowd IS tight-knit and generally supportive.
 
As for the miners, I just started mining since I retired from building architecture (and NO it is NOT a glamorous biz!) after 27 years.  I was chagrined about the video cards also and blamed the miners before me. Yeah, there are some people who are just plain greedy, and you know it because they brag about it online.
 
BUT, the truth is different. After being in the Crypto Scene for about 2 months, I learned the miners are getting bent over a fence rail JUST LIKE the gamers...and it sucks...r e a l l y  s u c k s.
 
And who is to blame? Our "favorite" , the SCALPERS. The real ones. Example: I got an email today at 3:40 am EST from Newegg about an MSI 1660 Super for $394.99, and I'm sure everyone here got the same email. In the time it took me to click the email and open the link, Newegg said, "SOLD OUT." Yeah, that was fun! [major sarcasm]
 
And while Newegg had an order limit, anyone with some minor bot skills, a VPN, a re-Captcha breaker, and some cash can bypass that. And they apparently DID--LOL! 
 
Yeah, Newegg takes some of the blame too...or maybe not. They are a business -> businesses exist based on and to make -> a profit...ethics are relative to which side you are on. I've been "self-employed aka my own business" for 27 years, and having been through a bankruptcy 10 years ago and seeing the coronabeervirus nuke my architecture business to oblivion (not too many people building hotels, office buildings, etc. ), let me reiterate this:
 
Business + Profit = "Me and my 20+ kitties get to eat today! Yay!"
Business + NO Profit - "I stole the cat food 'cause I was hungry, and the kitties are trying to eat me!"
 
FWIW, I'm one of the "ethical business" saints...or fools, based on who is yakking out the opinion.
Why did I ramble on? Who knows? Probably because I'm the "Crazy Cat Guy"!

wow now there are 200 ships waiting outside the Suez Canal. its not just computer parts. I have to paint my kitchen now because I can t get the thermal foil . Backordered.
