Well thanks to our wonderful Miner and Scalper friends buying up every 30 series gpu the millisecond they hit the market as their bots patrol the internet stock trackers 24/7. I was not about to pay a scalper 800-1500 for an EVGA RTX 3080. So for the first time in my life I bought a built to order pc from one of the system builders. Cyberpower PC they only charged me 2634 with my upgrades of the Black Pearl they offer at 1900. They got it to me fast, the 21st of Jan it arrived on the 17th of Feb. They also left some things for me to do. Flip the fans to blow air in Set Ram speed from its auto 2666 to 3000mhz Redo the rear case wiring. Fix the lack of slack on the 4tb drives power cable that came with the PC. Figure out what device was connecting/reconnecting every 1-3 seconds in windows. Was the pump controller. Went into bios set the pump/fans from auto to full speed. Hit number 1 on EVGA Mod Rigs for my 3070 Score, am ranked 87 in the world for the RTX 3070 and the I9 10900k/KF. My pc got featured by Cyberpower PC on their Facebook/Twitter/Discord. Pretty cool honestly. Met someone on their discord that got an EVGA Card and sent him here to register it, was having some issues, we figured out the GPU was toast and it was not his motherboard. He got lucky and got a KR card! Pretty awesome, so he will be RMAing the card with EVGA and be off to happy gaming. Built this rig in mind with EVGA Warranty, MSI board Warranty, along with Gigabyte PSU warranty "sorry no evga psu's at 850w available" Crucial Ram warranty "the extra hundred for Corsair was not worth it at the price I already got the system up to". Along with going with Cyberpower they only wanted 2634 dollars vs everyone else who wanted 3200-3600 dollars for pretty much the same system. So I have double warranties on each part and can skip Cyberpower PC's RMA and do everything myself directly though vendors. IF you pick the right quality parts not just taking whatever they give you, pick faster shipping, get the foam to hold the gpu in other components in place while shipping. Do not make changes in your build or harass your sales rep being rude. You should be golden. Can say this was a better buying to customer service experience than when I bought a gaming PC for my brother in 2005 from Alienware. Honestly after trying to get an EVGA RTX 3070 for months this was the best and fastest option. The pc is amazing. The PC as it is now Kind of on hold until my step-up goes though some day... They are only on October of last year. So here is to waiting. -----------------------Build itself is finished---------------------------------------------------------------- Well the pc has gone through a lot of crazy changes since I bought it as a built to order during the shortage to beat the Scalpers/miners and their bots. This crazy plan started in 2021 then mutated to what it is now over one single game. This post you can see it and my office transformation from 2021 to now. Only thing left is touch up painting, getting some dark grey blinds custom sized, and buying an Afterlife neon sign. Its been one wild ride with a killer pc all around. My setup has won multiple competitions so has been kind of nice. I may shoot for a higher bench score I do have some extra m.2's sitting around to put the latest windows 10 or a modified copy of windows 11 so 22h2 does not butcher my cpu score thus butchering my gpu score. Just has not been important. Already beat someone here on modrigs that felt the need to list their none evga 40 series card as an evga knocking those of us actual 3090/3090 TI owners off the mod rigs charts when what they did was not that impressive.

LoL not too bad but not great at 2600 something shipped, 3 days shipping was like 25 still know they got the whole 90 something for shipping in the rest of the cost. Better than paying 900-1500 for a RTX 3070 whatever edition. Scalpers are getting cray. Tired of the three month game of wanting to upgrade, fighting with bots. So went mc screw it. Haha I will consider that name too. Really do not like that I do not get to build it, yet circumstances a choice had to be made.

It’s a good card until the Ray tracing benchmarks show up. The thing I read that made me really think the card wasn’t that great for current games was the 3060ti beating the 6900XT in minecraft Ray Tracing.

+1 big reason I am going with Nvidia I want that RTX action in multiple titles and want it to be smooth as possible.

The main reason for me to go with a Radeon was to check out the SAM feature. The drawback is that this cards have many issues with Cache Hirche Errors, are there exists a place in this Forum there I can ask for Issues like this?

Well my PC is here, it was supposed to ship on the 24th of this month, shipped on the 15th in the evening, then was supposed to get here on the 18th but got here on the 17th.
The first 2-3hrs was fun, having to figure out what CCVI was in the device manager and why it would show up then ghost every few seconds making the hardware connected/disconnected sound. Apparently it is my EVGA liquid cooler and the system maker didn't set the fans to be at 100%. Need to pull out a stick of ram check the timings/voltage so my ram will run to speed, had to flip around a couple fans so fresh cool air is pushed into the system, installed EVGA Precision X1, second it started said we are doing a bios flash, my gpu's fans revved up to 100% the EVGA LED logo went out, the LED's of death lit up by the power connectors was like oh boy pucker moment. Will purchase 8 fans to drop in, get some of my other hard drives in then close it up, print some custom vinyls to put on can do that now here at home. I do miss the days when some things were a little simpler like a self contained liquid cooler. Looking in the device manager so much more new stuff I am going waaaaa.
So all in all, it was worth it less than the rest of the system builders out there, but with that came a little fun. So I got to at least do something. Still have no idea what to name my new PC.

T hose who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way. Affiliate Code: 3T15O1S07G

Cool GTX Nice Rig
rjohnson11 Good looking build
Thank you just wish I could had built the whole thing, spending about the next 3-7hrs copying files off my old machine. Then I will be putting the SSD, mechanical and a fan or three into the new machine. Just kind of a glad they left me with something to do at least. haha. Here is hoping I get about 8-10 years out of this one, with a GPU to some other upgrade in about 3-5 years in between, before I build"if scalper shenanigans continues in the future"/Built to order again... :/ SMH
