Your psu isn’t multi rail so that isn’t your problem. However shutting down while gaming is usually the psu.

Do yourself a favor get a Corsair HX1500i or AX1600i or an HX1200i, or an ASUS Rog Thor II 1200 or the Loki 1200w, or the new Seasonic Vertex 1200-1300w"not sure if they have a 1300w". Only go with with 1500-1600w if you are doing xoc with volt modded hardware. You can get away with a 1000w but do not to be able to overclock much at all without the psu going into voltage protection mode. Like Sajin said shutting down is normally psu related. Since Andrew Han dropped the contract with Seasonic and Superflower I will not touch their psu's with a 10 foot pole. Already have had a couple of their new ones fail because they are not anywhere near as the quality as when Seasonic and Superflower were making them.

Might genuinely be CPU/RAM instability, though I always got blue screens when I enabled multi-thread optimization or whatever it was in drivers.

If you're going to suggest Corsair I'd also like to suggest the Corsair Shift RM1200X. This is the one I use. The flatness of the cables and connector orientation make cabling much easier.

    Hi mallorian,

If the system is turning off and not turning back on, does it require a power switch to be reset or the PSU to be unplugged to turn back on? If so, then this can be the power supply detecting a ground fault and tripping the protections.  We can help you with further troubleshooting to narrow down the cause. Support@EVGA.com

Have you checked your CPU temperature under load if this behavior is occurring without having to reset the power supply to turn the system back on?  If the CPU is overheating then this can be shutting down the system to protect it.

If the system is restarting, then I suggest checking the system event viewer to see if there are any errors listed.  Please email us the info: Support@EVGA.com

If it is a T2-1600 and you purchased it new, then you should have a 10-year warranty, and we are here to help you if it is the power supply causing an issue for you.

If you do need a new unit, I highly recommend all of our current line of power supplies which are very reliable and affordable as shown on the reviews of the products.

If 1600W is preferred, then I suggest our 1600W Gold unit.  EVGA - Products - EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 G+, 80+ GOLD 1600W, Fully Modular, 10 Year Warranty, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester, Power Supply 220-GP-1600-X1 - 220-GP-1600-X1

If you prefer a unit with ATX 3.0 support then I do highly recommend our 1000w FTW model: EVGA - Products - EVGA SuperNOVA 1000G FTW ATX3.0 & PCIE 5, 80 Plus Gold Certified 1000W, 12VHPWR, Fully Modular, ECO MODE with FDB Fan, 100% Japanese Capacitors, Compact 150mm Size, Power Supply 535-5G-1000-K1 - 535-5G-1000-K1

I am very sorry to hear the negative views of some members, as EVGA is here and always has been to support our customers and we do offer good and reliable products.

Should not be too long as many of these models were shown at Computex 2024.
