Now that is impressive with a 13900k, looks like even the 12900k was really holding the card back. What are your RT numbers with DLSS off and on quality w/ frame generation off
I got my ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 OC installed yesterday albeit, had to move my Singularity pump/res across to accommodate this massive card. Admittingly I'm using Windows 11 but my stock score for Port Royal is within margin of error to Sajin's 13900k (about 100pts more) using a 12900k although I have faster RAM (6200MT/s), I haven't done a TimeSpy Extreme run yet so that's an unknown at this point. Hopefully when I get my waterblock (ETA mid-December) that lower temperatures will bump the clock up a bin or two (or more).

69 on the package. 67c on the hottest pcore after 15 minutes of drawing 145w average on the package in cyberpunk.

Raytracing vs no raytracing...
A few differences between the two shots, but worth the performance hit? Nope.
For me, the raytraced still image looks a lot better. The character models look like crap on the non-raytraced image comparatively speaking. That's me, though.

Ty, how is it with DLSS Quality/Frame generation Off, RT all on Ultra just the bench know it's getting late?
I feel you on RT, sadly I have the curse of the retired AAA Dev/Environment Artist/3D Modeler/Miracle Worker... So all the small stuff that is not important to most I can see since I have the eye for it and appreciate it when it's there and without it things stick out like a sore thumb once I have seen it with all the eye candy. Something my brain/eyes just cannot ignore sadly...
I'm horrible at movies too with bad CG movies as much as I am with anything military in the movies lol.

What do you mean by bad? When I find the limit I get a app lockup/ctd, but that is all.

Got a decent 3080 Ti FTW, runs 200+ on core and so far, +1700 on memory isn't dropping the score in 3DMark...which surprised the heck out of me. Power limit and temps are keeping my scores down relative to others. Should improve somewhat when I get around to installing the hybrid cooler on it. Games I run at +120 core and +1000 on the memory. Stable as a rock.

That is really good on the core. Mine stops at around +215 core then I get app crashes. My memory will go a bit further however to +1550

Turn RT on and you'll see your performance nearly double with the 4090. The 3rd generation RT cores and the fact that there is 128 of them on the 4090 vs 84 on the 3090 Ti is a massive leap in raw RT performance.
Often times with massive leaps I like to see what the numbers are with driver updates down the road. I have been a gamer long enough to remember when drivers detected Quake.exe was running and reduced quality to make the new cards look faster.

Oh I remember that little fiasco when ATI and NVIDIA both were caught lowering image quality and texture filtering in order to artificially boost performance. This isn’t that though, they not only increased the RT core count from a max of 84 to 128 now on the 4090 but they also increased their triangle vector performance and significantly increased the clock speeds. The actual RT performance this generation is quite a leap from the previous 3090 Ti.

Here lately , out of Port Royal I'm getting blinking out Driver crashes that I have to reboot and reset my settings/ type of crashes, for just 1 bin over the limit on my 3090 Ti , wonder what I am doing wrong. I had a couple 4090s in my cart launch morning and chickened out, wish I had got one to play with now.
