What's the rest of your new specs? Was considering a 13900K too but games just don't really care about the E cores no matter how many of them you have. I still may order a 13000K too just to test with but I'm probably going to still with the 13700K.

z690 dark kingpin 13900k G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 Intel XMP 3.0 Desktop Memory Model F5-6000J3636F16GX2-TZ5RK Intel 730 ssd. (Old but works fine for me.) EVGA clc 280mm cpu cooler. (Hopefully this will keep the 13900k cool enough while just gaming at stock clocks. If not I’ll be looking to get a different cooler like the evga clx 360. I’m actually waiting for the EVGA CLC Intel LGA1700 Retention Kit atm should be here tomorrow.) Seasonic 1300w ssr-1300pd.

Just looked inside the cpu cooler and it already has the lga 1700 retention bracket, lol, so looks like I’ll be getting it up and running tonight. 😁😎

The 280mm should be enough for even a bit of overclocking if you undervolt the CPU. I'm running my 13700K at 5.5Ghz all P core with a -0.0250v offset on a 360mm AIO, I just left the E cores at stock 4.2Ghz since they do nothing to help gaming.

Just need to get my 13900k now. This threadripper 3960x can't handle this card. Bottleneck city in cyberpunk. rofl.
This is why I am upgrading to the 7950X before upgrading past my current 3090 Ti. I have the 7950X, but won't be able to install it until the weekend. Next, is my Intel rig with a 13900K (it has my old 3090 in it). After that, the 3090 Ti to the Intel rig and a 4090 Ti for the AMD rig. Have to do the CPU first for me.

Not bad, but I’d highly recommend you upgrade to windows 11 to make better use of Intel‘s hybrid architecture CPUs. The Windows 10 scheduler can sometimes assign priority tasks to the E cores like games or other things that shouldn’t be running on them.

The z690 dark kingpin has a fix for that. It's called pressing the scroll lock key to park all the ecores.
