Anyone having a problem seeing the bios access screen during boot with Resize BAR enabled? Trying to narrow an issue down to my specific monitor. When I use my Omen X25f I can see the bios option screen and press DELETE and I can enter my bios however I do not even see the bios option screen during boot with my PG259QNR. I've tried different display ports on the GPU, the HDMI, and no access during boot. Other monitors will behave normally. I've tried different FAST BOOT options, options through Windows to access..

Shouldn't have anything to do with RE-bar. Sounds more like monitor slow to detect signal. My old Pixio monitor had the same issue.

Is there a general fix for the issue?

None that I ever found... monitor only lasted about a year. Bought a new monitor and hasn't been an issue with it.

Thanks for tossing this info out there. Completely skimmed over Resizeable BAR until I passed it in the forums here.

You can't..but firmware update and bios update are 2 different things.. It updates firmware with every new version I believe.

Well on my card, updating the firmware slows the card down. Piece of trash 3080 Ti XC3 card that EVGA should be embarrassed of selling needs all the help it can get. https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3431906

Updating my bios to re-bar version lowered my performance in Time spy but raised it in Port Royale. and putting the old bios back on card made no change. Mine is a 3080 FTW3 Ultra.. re-bar bios also screws up the fans on mine.

Well since EVGA has not posted the Hydro Copper bios flash back, I just installed the XC3 Hybrid bios and it brought the score back up to it's previous pitiful score. What a pile of crap the 3080 Ti XC3 cards are. EVGA should be sued for selling these cards.

I'm a complete noob and I didn't know what I was doing, but I went to the Re-BAR tab and clicked on the "update" icon next to my "Graphics BIOS." I followed the instructions, the screen flashed a few times, and then I got this: "ERROR: Invalid firmware image detected." Since the error told me not to power off the pc before I figure this out, I was wondering if anyone can help me here? To clarify, I have no interest in using the Re-BAR. I was just dumb for clicking on it.

I am also having this issue, and it has happened with two different ASUS Mobos and my 3080Ti FTW3. When using Displayport, i can only get to BIOS with CSM enabled. Therefore I am unable to use ReBAR since CSM is enabled.

This is a known issue and a beta VBIOS has been released that will fix it. Official VBIOS update should be out soon. https://forums.evga.com/R...-DP-port-m3410892.aspx

Zen3 AMD CPUs work so long as the motherboard BIOS supports it. AMD calls it SAM (Smart Access Memory) instead of resizable BAR, but it works the same.

Technically, Z390 isn’t supported officially, but my board and 9900K supports it thanks to Gigabyte.

Yesterday I received my notification to order a RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming (LHR version), my question is when I get it is there any chance that Resizable Bar will already be activated within the card's Bios or whatnot given that it's a newer version of the card? I already have my setup ready for it as I currently have RTX 3070 FE with it activated.

Update your BIOS, that version is no longer listed on Asus' site, that happened to me as well. Once I updated, Resizable bar worked.
