I just updated my firmware (3070 ti) with the latest precision and had no issues. I had to use the Steam version of precision x1 though, as the standalone version would crash as soon as I opened it.
Rebar has been working ever since I installed the card though.

Is there any news on the the 1000w 3090 bios and reBAR? Have evga said anything on when it will be released?

I am aware of a 3090 500w bios that EVGA didn't create and doesn't support. But 1000w is news to me for sure. 

Yeah, I have an 520w bios with reBAR. But I hit the power limit. And want to try the 1000w bios, but that don’t have reBAR support unfortunately.

And I was hoping that somebody in here would now something about an possible release.

Ok uninstall PX1 flash. Flash 1000w bios, restart comp and reinstall PX1. Let it update bios and see if that leaves you with 1000w limit.. I know I have a 450w bios and re-bar on my 3080 FTW3 and I believe that was the way it worked. If it doesn't you can just reflash your 1000w bios.
 

Thank you for the answer. But I forgot to mention that I have an asus strix oc version of the 3090. So I uses nvflash.

And I just wanted to now if the 1000w kingpin bios was releasing with reBAR soon.
Since I have used nvflash to get the 520w version now on my card, that have reBAR.
But I hit the power limit unfortunately.

So if it says "Please check with your motherboard vendor" then I assume my motherboard doesn't support this?

I haven't noticed any performance increase on my RTX3090 with Resizable BAR enabled on Superposition bench. (I got 11900K and Z590)

But according to 3080Ti review(Tom's Hardware iirc), most games get ~3-5% increase once you enable Resizable BAR except on one game(Control). You actually lose ~5% with 3080Tie on Control if you enable Resizable BAR.

But I'm not sure if that's the same case with 3090 since it's got 24GB VRAM(instead 12GB VRAM on 3080Ti).

So I just tried updating bios via PX1 and it installed a bios with a power limit of 450W....

Just reinstall the 520w bios and don't let PX1 update your bios again.

So I have to use nvflash and grab the bios from TechPowerUp?

So just went and installed the 520W rebar bios again (probably the 6-7th time now...) via nvflash... same results. This is with a paltry +120 on the core...

Looks like your card is actually only using 470w, not that it's limited by the bios. I have a 450w bios but my card only actually draws 434w max. A 500w bios wouldn't let my card draw any more watts it would still only draw 434w.

You can see in GPU-Z that it is hitting a Power Limit at 470W/109% TDP when it has 50W of headroom left on a 520W/120% TDP bios. You would be correct if GPU-Z/HWiNFO were not showing power limiter. It's also obvious that the GPU is throttling when hitting power limit during the run, and after the run when you look at the graphs... throttles down well below 2100mhz.

The pic doesn't show perf cap reason.. it says idle and tech powerup shows bios has a max limit of 520.. it's not the bios that's limiting your power. You might want to have a look at the only pic you posted.

The green you see in perf cap is Power Limit. It says idle because it will always display current status unless you hover your mouse over a specific part of the bar-graph. Green in perfcap = Pwr.
 
I should not be seeing green while below 520W 120%TDP.
