Now I have to find a case that will let me top mount both the GPU and CPU radiators.  Or maybe a rear mounted GPU radiator.
Any suggestions?

If you want to top mount both GPU and CPU radiators, there's the Corsair 1000D Super Tower if you buy the option trays for the top.

That thing is a BEAST. I wish I knew someone who was building in one so I could help lol

I know, we all can dream.  Wanted to get it for myself but I went with Lian Li O11 DXL, which I am really happy with it.

You can also go with the bequiet! Dark Base Pro 900 for many radiator options. You can fit a 420 in the front or top, but I'm not sure if you can fit 2 240's in the top or not. I think I'm going to end up with a front-mount hybrid radiator and my CPU loop at the top. Currently have a CLC-280 up there and will definitely be doing a push-pull if it stays. May have to get a 360 and push-pull that if this doesn't do it anymore with the hotter intake. I'll also probably put another cool-air intake on the bottom and opening one of the vents on my shroud as I have room for that too. There are definitely...options with this case. Just can't fit the bigger 3080 hybrid radiator on the back like my current 2080-Super hybrid radiator.

6Q6CPFHPBPCU691 is a discount code anyone can use.

OK I just got off the phone with them. They saw 30 EVGA cards there. They don’t know why it is reporting only eight. They still have stock also. I’m trying to get this stupid concrete job done so I can get up there and grab one. If I get one I will sell it to one of you for cost. I’m just going to be happy with my 1080 TI until one of my notifications come up. My case isn’t exactly ready yet. I am redoing all of my water cooling I have the Thermaltake Core X5 it’s a monstrous case and I want to add a whole lot more water cooling to it. And I see them because I don’t want anyone to know if it’s a he or she working there I do not want them in trouble. But they said there is still about 12

Good luck.  Just got back from there.  It's all MSI 3070.

I don't live anywhere remotely near a microcenter, but I am close to one right now for training. I checked, and they STILL have 3090s and 3070s in stock, several hours after the store's opening. Why?

They are all MSI, and MSI raised the CRAP out of their MSRPs. Nearly $800 for a 3070? No thanks. I'm hoping to snag a 3080 for less than that, if we ever start moving faster in this queue. I realize that I have a 3070 FE I lucked out on thanks to Best Buy, but even if I didn't I would have just kept my 1080ti hybrid and gamed on that and waited for prices to become sane. This is madness.

Yeah the MSI cards seem to be hanging in there so either MSI has been pumping out a TON of cards or no one wants them and have been getting the other board partners. Although it's still hard to find an MSI 3080. I nearly cried when they told me the total for mine T_T Praying I can get an EVGA sooner than later and give this one to my buddy for cost.

You can fit 3 140's in the front of the dark base as well. It does not come with carrying straps though...and it weighs about 1000 pounds.

china is shutting down for chinese new year. probably wont see much movement until late feb early march.

I have a feeling that March is going to be the dead month. We should continue to see drops in February with cards that were manufactured before the holiday. I wonder how long it takes for a card to get from the factory to a store shelf in the US. The journey across the Pacific on a container ship takes 2-4 weeks, so it has to be at least a month in most cases.

I really hope I can snag a 3060 or 3060ti for my "Dual" PC build. I am really jonesing to make something like this for my kiddos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Mgnwn4twZE

It won't be a his/her PC, but rather a "two kids for the price of one!" PC. Right now I've got a 1660 super and a 1650 super I can throw in together, with an EVGA 700w PSU to run everything. Leaning towards an i5 10400 right now. It is 6 core with HT, has a good turbo clock, and has integrated video to help setting up the virtual machine shell, and the price is pretty incredible right now. Can get the CPU+motherboard very cheaply. Throw in a 32GB DDR4 kit, my two video cards, and we'll be able to have both kids 3D gaming on the same PC. Wife will appreciate the reduced clutter in their bedroom, and both kids will have an upgrade performance-wise from what they are currently gaming on.

Thinking of something like this for the case:
https://www.microcenter.com/product/606985/cooler-master-nr600-masterbox-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-computer-case---black
or maybe this:
https://www.microcenter.com/product/606971/nzxt-h510-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-computer-case---black
or maybe this:
https://www.microcenter.com/product/604789/lian-li-205-tempered-glass-atx-computer-case---black

Any thoughts?

Brauer
The problem with "mining only" cards is that so long as a gpu intended for gaming and other workloads can be used for Mining it will still be attractive to miners. The reason being that regular gpus have greater resale value because they can be used by a wider audience and because it isn't obvious that a regular gpu was used for Mining. Unless mining cards are MUCH cheaper than regular gpus (unlikely when all they do is knock off the display ports) the added resale value of a regular gpu is very attractive.

At first I would definitely agree with this theorie. But then I remembered a video from Linus Media Group where he made it possible to use a “port-less mining-GPU” work for gaming.
I guess by using the onboard or a cheap-ass SLI combo but it wasn’t that difficult.
This is the Vid. if I’m not mistaken;

https:// youtu.be/TY4s35uULg4

Don’t spread the word to miners, maybe this could be a way for us to fix cheap gaming power when the cards are not rendabel anymore for mining. 😜

With so few 3080s being made, I'm now wondering if my 3 lower-end 3080 queues will time out before April 15th.

No kidding on it being a BEAST. I sprung for one because I liked its appearance and enjoy extra space to work with.

I underestimated how large it was. When I brought it into the house and unboxed it, I thought to myself, “Yup... ya done messed up, didn’t ya?”

I built what I’ve got in it, and it’s comfortably hanging about 5 inches off the front of my desk while waiting for me to build it a dedicated stand.

My workspace is presently nonexistent. But, I have airflow for days!

Was it a location in a smaller community like Columbus? I wouldn't be surprised if stores in less traveled parts of the country are keeping cards in stock longer. A buddy of mine has been trying to get a card at the Tustin store for several weeks and keeps coming up empty. Every time he shows up there is either a big line, or no cards. Not surprising since that store serves the entire LA basin.

Check out the thermaltake core x5 and x9
Its huge! The x9 supports 480mm rads at top and 360 in front and side rails. I use the x5 and i am putting 2, 360mm rads at top and a 360mm on side rail for gpu. The case is a horizontal case too so you dont have to worry about the weight of gpus

And then he asks you to build a PC for him too - on company time. And then it's a win-win! :D

That's the specific SKU that you're looking at. Are you trying to say you just hit auto-notify?

Haha no, I understand the 10 Gig. 3080 part.

"This was the moment he knew... he $%*#ed up"

And not like you're gonna get much work done with that gorgeous thing sitting in front of you anyways ;)

I gotta finish building mine first! 😂

Come on with the 3090 queue already lol

Most likely it's 3080s going to dedicated mining cards.

I wish they would make cards specifically for mining and cards specifically for gaming.

They do. That's another reason why supply is so garbage. NVIDIA is selling gpus directly to mining operations, in bulk, that have no outputs for display. They've been doing it since the mining craze began back when the R9 290X & GTX 780s were new, from what I understand.
What sucks (for us) is that even in this gpu climate, Nvidia are still prioritizing the mining market & the enterprise sector (because that's where the profit is) over regular consumers.

The first mining craze on this side was crazy, there were reports of mining outfits offering big bonus to whoever got them cards first to the point where they would take control of enormous stocks of GPU before these even reached the stores.

In case anyone missed my input a few pages ago... I would love to get my hands on a cheap 3090 mining card without graphics ports; https:// youtu.be/TY4s35uULg4

If the workaround in the Bios isn’t “fixed” this should be possible for the most of us!

Ohhhhh lol I thought you were trying to break down what each part of the SKU meant. We've tried guessing at this point what correlates to what, but there's no way to know for certain xD

Nope, don’t know either!
