It's EVGA Sstandard practice though on releasing cards without enough stock. It creates a frenzy and the scalpers to re-sell for profits.. At the end of the day not worth my time, headache or money....

I thought it was because they are a smaller company compared to some of the bigger brands but that's just my reasoning.

did any of you guys get a call from evgas customer support ? because i did and he said that my order did go through but paypal didnt work correctly is 001(714) 528-4500 their support number does anyone know this ?

Exactly what Apple does and one way they create such a feeding frenzy...hence more obsession....hence more sales. I agree, It's a very beautiful card but being 44, I'm done with heart-pouding anticipation. I just sit and watch.

That review seems to be a heavily clocked KP vs default clocked GPU's. I like they showed the OC'd numbers of the KP but at least show the non-OC numbers too.

yeah, I noticed they didn't compare any Overclocked cards against the KPE, so I disregard the entire article. I figure they did this because that was the test samples they had available and they didn't feel like doing the research for the Factory Overclocked cards tehy have tested in the past. Either way, i am not impressed with their write up.
One thing i took out of it, and Vince said it himself, If you aren't using it for LN2, it isn't going to do anything a bone stock 980ti can't do, other than change colors. Now, if I had the money for one, I have a Ln2 Pot right here waiting.

Sounds like its going to take some work to install. Wish they would make one so warranty may cover both gpu and block. That is if I feel like coughing up $1200 for each gpu with a water block. If I wait to purchase will they run out and stop making them lets say 3-4 months down the road? Thanks

Blocks are overthought when it comes to Install. Install is super easy and doesn't take long at all. EK covers the Block, and EVGA covers the GPU, so both are covered as long as you don't physically damage them, which is actually pretty difficult honestly.

paypal wasn't an option or I'd have a 76% it only had credit card payment available evga seriously you should have done preorders like with the 980KPE... there are alot of people in the LN2 community who wanted these. glad I didn't get one though. too much money its funny the people that buy these cards usually won't even go subzero... Vince himself came into the thread on OCN to say that people who weren't gonna freeze these would be better off buying a classified.. I mean you can get a descent asic without paying for it. but seriously this card doesn't have any seeable improvements for 99% of you guys over a classified. kudos to EVGA for creating a market where they can ucharge for nonguaranteed performance. I mean yall bending over backwards and in bold they say that asic is no guarantee for performance and to be used as a reference. hell even the ln2 users have no use for an 80% asic card, all the best freezes are at 74% and 77% according to someone who actually has been through enough of these to know

Those OC's are at default voltage, that's why they show them. Temp's are very reasonable ...
