Okay, water blocks finally ordered.     Ordered them from PPC's.   Prices were the same, but the shipping charges are cheaper from PPC's.

So I'm back to where I was with the 780Ti's.   I've pretty much got everything I need, I just need to quit procrastinating and just do it.

Things left to do.

Figure out fittings based on tube routing.
Order fittings.
Order sleeve.
Sleeve everything that needs to be sleeved.
Put it all together.

Definitely glad to see this coming along, and yeah, let's see a build log.
Personal experience, I love BitsPower fittings, internals on Enzotech are the same(on most of the components), but the coatings on BitsPower are way more resilient to chipping and scratches.

Seriously! Poor Dukman is going to need to invest in a Data-Vac to blow the dust off of his parts by the time he gets going with this.

Well... Umm...

Ahem.  What were we talking about?

Yeah, I've been slacking a bit.  Really only need a few more things.  So the earlier list is essentially where I still stand.

In my defense though, I need to replace my AC and heater, so I've been diverting a good chunk of my available funding into saving up for that.

My new reservoir is huge and it really keeps my heat down with all of the extra coolant in it. Idle temps are usually 1 to 2 degrees above ambient now. That's a 4 to 5 degree improvement just by adding more coolant to the loop.

That's a dual-bay reservoir and fits in under my CD/DVD combo drive where my Swiftech Maelstrom V2 used to be. I just played some BF4 and my GPU load temps maxed at 44° with an ambient of 26°C. I overclocked my CPU to 4.7 GHz at 1.350 vCore and temps maxed at 60°C after the game was over.

Just finished updating my Mods-Rigs page with some new pics. You should be able to judge how far back my new reservoir extends into the case from this photo. The back hose on the upper 240 rad goes into a 90° fitting and only needs a 18mm extension to go straight into the rear reservoir input.

Nice Zuhl!
Wonder if Duckman will be inspired by pics others put in his thread to give us pics of his finished product :)

Still looking forward to seeing it completed Duckman!

Insert embarrassed smiley here  --->

I've got all these parts sitting around and as Zuhl pointed out, gathering dust.   Two things I'm really not looking forward.  Sleeving all those cables and figuring out the placement and routing of those new, somewhat intimidating components.

I will try my best to not post any more of my pics in your thread. Sorry about that. It's good to plan things out in the beginning so it looks nice in the end. My first try was a mess only to me it was beautiful. Silly me! What I learned on my second try was to remove as much as possible from inside the case so I had room to move around with my big clumsy hands. This time I routed all of the hoses and cables before I put my video board assembly back in there. It made a world of difference for me. Good luck with your decisions. I can't wait to see a Mods-Rigs page so I can give you your first official +1 vote.

Progress report of progress.

No, I am not dismantling or assembling anything yet, but more stuff has been ordered.

I've got about 3 kilomoters of cable sleeving on it's way.  Fan controller is on it's way and I think I've got a handle of what fittings I'll need.  They're sitting in a wish list waiting to be ordered.   Probably going to go with Alphacool fittings.  I like the look of those, they have decent reviews, they come in 30.00 cheaper and I won't have to switch out all the glow in the dark o-rings like I would with the BitsPower stuff.

Still left to do.  Get more stuff.  I'm having second thoughts on the choice I made for the fan distribution blocks.
Figure out on paper a rough idea of how to route the tubing.
Spend about 10 weeks sleeving the power supply and all the other assorted cables.  Im going to cheat though.  If you cant see it, Im not going to sleeve it.

That is my philosophy too. I just did my hose routing in my head. Maybe that's where I went wrong the first time around? Still waiting for a Mods-Rigs page with a list of your components. I know the final pics are going to be great.

Okay, Im a bit stumped here.  I'm sorting out what fittings I'll likely need, so I've been making a diagram of the order of components.  Since this is a single loop, I figure obviously the radiators will be last.

Here's what Im thinking.

Option 1: Pump/Res > CPU > GPU > Radiator1 > Radiator2 > Pump/Res.    This makes the most sense to me from a heat perspective, but will be the messiest from a routing perspective.

Option 2: Pump/Res > GPU > CPU > Radiator1 > Radiator2 > Pump/Res.   Not sure if this option will really work because Im going at it from the bottom up, but it would allow for the simplest and neatest tube routing.

Hmm... Further Googling leads to more questions.  Options 1 & 2 aren't quite feasible.

Option 3: Pump/Res > GPU's > Radiator1 > CPU > Radiator2 > Pump/Res.   Ugh, this makes more sense but it's going to be a bit of a pain/mess to route because both radiators are up top.

I went with option #3. Reservoir gravity feeds to pump in bottom and feeds my video boards. Then to the Monsta 360 because that is where the coolant is the hottest and needs the most cooling. From Monsta 360 to the CPU then to 240 radiator up top to cool things down before returning to my reservoir.

I was hoping to be able to route this as neatly as possible and I still might be able to do it.    I wish I was a wiz at 3d modeling so I could mock all this stuff up in a program.  But I think a liberal use of 90 degree fittings will be beneficial.

I used one regular 90 at the pump intake and two for the reservoir since it was so close to my radiator up top. I used two of these Swiftech 'wiggly' 90's between the pump and the EK terminal block on my video boards. The way I swiveled them they are more like 45° but they allowed me to clear the points of interference that a regular 90 or a 45 would have caused. I ordered three and only one of them sprung a leak. https://www.amazon.com/Swiftech-Swivel-Elbow-Lok-Seal-Fitting/dp/B007V9IOYC?ie=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=sxr_pa_click_within_right1

Got a couple of things on my mind that I had questions about.

I've got a Lamptron CW611 which can control fans and pumps.  If I decided to use it to control the pump do I need a PWM pump or will my D5 Vario pump work?

Also, my normal routine is to shut the PC down while Im at work and at night.  Is it better to keep the system powered up and running and just let it got to sleep or is powering down alright?

D5 Vario has a multi-position switch on the back to control the speed. I have one of those and run it at 100% anyway which is 4600 RPM. If you want to control the speed you'll need the PWM model. I have one of those too.
