I know it has been a long time waiting but lets give them a chance to fix this before we send the lynch mob. 
And we have waited .... but there is no solution in sight. I paid a lot more to buy this card because it could increase power up to 127% Among other things.
And the strore did not have this card available , it was specially ordered for me (I waited almost 2 weeks for it). The store had a 1080Ti Strix from ASUS in stock around 800 euros but I opted for this 1080TI FTW3, for 899euros, and after all i paid for something that is not enabled when could have paid much less.
Can you see why I'm disappointed?
Absolutely. You have every right to be disappointed. I am too but Jacob(EVGA) said they would do something about it. Lets see what they do?

Assuming you can only hit 117% and the cheapest FTW3 I can see is $790 then you're only getting $727.79 worth out of the card ((790/127)*117) so a rebate of around $62 would be in order.

Yeah.....i paid here in Portugal 899 euros ( not USD) for my card.... so i´m not happy with this situacion.
A good refund/rebate would be welcome.

Yeah I feel put off by EVGA's response to this. Nearly 1/2 year and no resolution. Nvidia cards all perform similarly now days regardless of brand and I bought the 1080ti FTW3 sorely on EVGA's reputation. I probably could have saved good $80 and bought ASUS or MSI. Oh well lesson learned.

Yeah right, like Superbxxx said, the first post in this thread is from July 11th 2017, which means exactly 6 months went by without any "real" update on the situation. We have waited for a very long time and still, no fix is in sight. Jacob went full-on damage control mode by making vague, general updates which doesn't actually mean anything such as "We have made some progress on finding the root cause, and are currently investigating with NVIDIA." and "This issue has been identified as an NVIDIA driver reporting issue, and is being corrected on a future NVIDIA driver update." most likely in hope that people just forget about this issue and move on. What a joke. At this rate, NVIDIA's next-gen graphics cards will be out and I know for certain that I won't buy EVGA this time around.

Yup the silence speaks LOUD AND CLEAR to me.
Now may be wish I didn't sell off my top clocker 1080 (2190mhz) the other day and just went back to 1080 sli and sell off the card and wait for the new cards.

Three possible reasons for the silence:
1) Their internal tests have shown that with a reasonable safe-margin employed, the 358W limit would be too much for the FTW3 cooler.
2) They haven't figured out a way to fix the BIOS. Modifications similar to the Kingpin extreme oc bios may not work on FTW3 as the VRM is vastly different. Also the complete power limit removal of XOC BIOS is not an option.
3) This issue has been so far too low on their priority list.

Yeah like there not going to be making anymore so why fix it... keep it on the down low and hold on tight for the next nvidia chip release and fix it then!

I just want the power level up so it stops dragging my clocks down when it shouldn't because of premature power limit 1!

Checked now, hiting limit at 116% with 390 drivers. And funny thing I've noticed, I am also hiting temp limit o.o with nothing over 50 C....

Might wanna contact evga about an rma.
