    Welcome to the forum edb6969

Is it a GTX 750 Ti (Titan ???) what is the part number and brand ?

    THIS ?
    http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3751-KR

I'm not sure this GPU can be used in SLI.

SLI of the GPU will not "ADD" the RAM together

2-way SLI of 2GB RAM cards = 2 GB RAM (not 4 GB)

SLI will work with same family of cards of similar RAM

What is the screen resolution you use - 1080 P ?

What are the specs of the rest of your PC ?
    CPU
    MB & BIOS version
    RAM
    PSU
    Case & fans

    1. No such thing as a gtx 750 titan. No as vram doesn't add up.
    2. No.

    mine is a 02G-P4-3757-KR
Pretty sure that everything on the box and stuff says GTX750Ti
maybe that's not titan and I am wrong?
Where I am mistaken is about the card being able to be used SLI .
    (Another newb mistake.)
However ... live and learn . Looks like I will be saving up for something better.
    Thanks for the info.

The ti on your card stands for "titanium". Nvidia started that many years ago, maybe 2003ish, with a ti card because it was supposed to be the top of the line. They stopped using it for a long time and brought it back with the gtx560ti, 2011-ish, and have been using it ever since. It pretty much means top of the line for that particular section of the series.....for example the 560ti was the best in the 560 set of cards, the 780ti is the best of the 780 series of cards etc...  Anyway, theres no reason why you cant use a 2GB gcard in a game that asks for 4GB cards, youll just have to turn the in game settings down a bit to get a stable frame rate and smooth play. The lower end cards like yours don't get sli because if you can sli together a couple lower end cards like these, especially with dual sli, you can end up with a result thats as good as a much higher end card, which of course boils down to money and moving stock. They would end up moving a lot of stock on the wrong end of the gcard list! Nvidias golden rule used to be gcards of the current lineup that are below 100.00 don't get sli, until they got higher in the generations and the cards got much more powerful and people started running sli more than upgrading or moving to high end cards, then they changed that rule and now you don't get sli for anything below gtxX60. wasn't that cool of them?!?!?! :P  As far as what sli does, it doesn't stack the graphics cards ram, also called vram. What sli does is either send one frame to one card and the next frame to the other card, which is called alternate rendering, or it cuts the frame in half and sends the top to one card and the bottom to another card, which is called split frame rendering. So the vram on each card is still used as that amount of vram to each card. Hopefully that's helps you understand why it doesn't add together. That doesn't mean in the future it wont, there has been talk of doing exactly that with DX12 in the windows 10 operating system, but its not here and sorted out yet. Everyones a noob at sometime so don't worry about that.... the best thing to do is ask the questions your wondering about and get the answers so you don't destroy any of your gear. Even if they sound stupid to you they may not be and may have a lot of serious results that you never thought of. :)  \m/
