Well the card (2070 SC Black) I was using for the EU Step-Up is now with EVGA EU headquarters in Germany for RMA. They should just send me a 3080 and be done with it

You don't get queue numbers on the Step up program to my knowledge. You only get to know the number on the notify queue which is a completely different set of numbers

Very true. Personally I’m not playing any ray tracing games as flight sim 2020 is my primary game. Also I’ll get this card on Friday and it’s looking like I’ll have a COVID vaccine before my step-up. So as the old saying goes, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Weak 4K too and no DLSS equivalent... Rage mode Nvidia has been doing for a long time already and SAM nothing special Nvidia is already implementing.

Step-up don't give you a queue number anymore. EVGA changed that several years ago.

It has Ray tracing? though games nowadays have little RT support and even then it's not all that.. From the benches I've seen it seems to be on par with the 3080 albiet a few % worse overall. DLSS also not available on most games, while impressive tech it's very limited.

They have just sent a card today back to me and looking at the Part Out number it is the same model but with a new serial number. I'll be using a 2070 for a couple more months then till someone actually gets a card

Im not impressed with after getting my step 2 email 11/5/2020 and checking email every day for 16 days only to find on the Step-Up Information page of my card it now states "Next Step EXPIRED". So i found it a little disheartening after 2 months looking forward to my new Ftw Ultra 3080 card, so now im in another queue for 45mins trying to phone customer support!!!!
