I cancelled my 3080 stepup and moved it to a 3090 stepup.  Haven't seen many in EU stepping up to a 3090 so no idea what the queue is like. 

Is there even a thread for 3090 eu?

Hey guys just wondering when you got your step 2 emails can you see what position you are in the official queue on your member/products?

No it just tells your queue complete date once your step 2 email comes through. I just rang about it being longer than 2 days since I had my step 3 ans was told not to worry they are going slower  than usual when that 2 working dayexpectation was set so we have to bear with them but we are next to be served when the invoice is checked and the product is available. 

Woah I missed alot! There are some with Step 2 mails wowowowowowow! I am still in Step-Up 1 registered on Sept 20th...I wonder when it will get to 3 days after launch

Got step 2 email 8 days ago, and noticed change in the balance to pay around 50 euro less!

my 90 days are over, unfortunately, i had 10 days left when i launched the program :s

If only that were true. I've witnessed the tinnitus of impatience in this thread and don't want to add to it, am really glad something's been happening meanwhile, just wished there was more transparency to the process. If I were to see a position and checked every other day, at some point there has to be change. It takes as long as it takes but waiting without seeing progress or knowing the rough timeframe is torture. I've ordered other things this year and been told times like 20-30 working days or week 30. Now that's something you can work with. :D Also, any chance the StepUp procedure is a tad confusing or have I not been looking into it enough? Took a while and I eventually ran into repeated questions about it on Reddit, pretty much always the same questions. Can I buy anywhere? Can I buy any card, as long as I'm the first owner and have a proper invoice?
 
On the other hand, time is on our side. Clown lips? Looks like those are finally gone. It also looks like nV screwed things up by rushing the launch to compete with AMD. This doesn't appear to be an EVGA only issue since the FE apparently is troubled as well. Blackscreens, performance issues, down to probably blown fuses on the card, red light of death and what not. I haven't paid attention to other brands. The nagging question about PSUs remains. I just hope my roughly 5 year old G2 750W will do. It should, but who knows. Following the EVGA calculator, they by the way recommended 600ish W PSUs for my 6700K system there. 😂
 
I'm not mad I'll be missing the 3080Ti, just in a state of **** nV is pulling that stunt. The double VRAM edition rumours were bad enough, but I expected a Ti in a year, not a few months after the initial release. That 999 USD pricing will likely look like what the 2080Ti was at for AIB cards and I'm not willing to spend that much. Cards have gotten expensive enough as they are.

So I waited good five months for my Step 1 to Step 2 on 2016 for my 1080 StepUp. So everything is still 😎

Dayummm... Wouldn't have been an issue for me if the card being used for Step-Up did not start generating artifacts within 4 months  I am now getting my options on the card if I can get a full refund from it, is this possible with EU ECC agreement just return to retailer? 

If I can get a full refund I will just hunt for my own card, 3070s seem to be abundant of late and I'd be fine with that than waiting half a year for a 3080...

EEC covers you on that one. Its for RMA (manufacturer) just send it off and they have to refund you unless you voided it.
