I just downloaded a 2.8GB patch. I will test tonight also. I hope they have fixed it

you didn't. it showed 2.8GB but actually downloaded something tiny. Aaaand, TAA still broken on SLI with Vulkan mgpu.

Well the only thing I noticed from the patch so far is the second scene doesn't flash in during the benchmark with SLI Vulkan. The jacked up colors in the catalog are still there and not sure on just how stable it is yet but for the most part it seems to have done nothing for SLI.

Ive been running destiny 2 with sli, hdr and gsync and always had amazing 99% usage on both cards and smooth gameplay. Updated to 441.20 and suddenly hdr made my 1st card to stay at 80% load while 2nd at 99%. This caused stuttering and massive frames loss. Updated to 441.21 and same issue but now happens no matter if hdr is on or off. People believe nvidia will fix sli in this game? They are simply making sure to completely kill it with each driver update. Holidays are coming up, they need to sell more rtx-scam. Rockstar couldnt care less about sli. Everyone here should file a complaint againts rockstar and nvidia with a link to this forum and other forums too. So many people have been ****ed over by them. If nobody speaks up then start selling your 2nd cards because there is no point in keeping them knowing that less and less games will support it.

I also play D2 and I have no issues getting both of my cards to 99% usage at 4K fully maxed out on 441.21 or 441.34. Plus if nvidia is trying to kill SLI which is a load of crap, why would they recently add checkerboard rendering in the driver (needs nv inspector to enable per game) that enables MGPU support in DX10, DX11 and DX12 even if the dev never supported SLI to begin with, tested myself and it works great depending on the game. Please stop spouting SLI is dead crap as it's far from it.

RDR2 does seem more stable with the latest patch for me but the flickering in some situations is still there unfortunately.

From the patch notes:

  • Improvements to address an issue that resulted in a crash during certain weather conditions on systems with multiple graphics cards
  • Improvements to address an issue that resulted in graphical errors and other instability when using Vulkan with multiple graphics card

Maybe this hasn't fixed everyone's issue but they clearly ARE working on it.

Same here. No difference. SLI seems working but white screen and flickering like hell. But at least it is good to know they are working on it.

Last night I crashed when the larger SGA file reached 39MB. Seems to occur at that point a lot. So I crashed and then made those three SGA files "Read only". I then played for 4 hours straight. Will test again tonight

Release Highlights:
Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is included for the best gameplay on day-1.

Game Ready for Halo: Reach
The new Game Ready Driver provides the latest performance optimizations, profiles, and bug fixes for Halo: Reach. In addition, this release also provides optimal support for the Quake II RTX v1.2 update which provides exciting quality enhancements for ray tracing and textures.

Image Sharpening Support for Vulkan and OpenGL
Last month, we introduced a new NVIDIA Control Panel Image Sharpening feature that enables GeForce gamers to improve clarity and sharpness in DirectX titles, and to easily upscale and sharpen. With this new Game Ready Driver, this feature is also now available for OpenGL and Vulkan games. To enable Image Sharpening, open NVIDIA Control Panel and select Manage 3D Settings -> Image Sharpening.

Guru3d says this about the driver and he doesn't finish saying something about Red Dead 2. I also don't see anything about it in the release notes. The latest patch with .34 does seem a lot more stable as it has yet to crash on me. Installing now myself and will update on what I see.

"Version 441.41 WHQL is game-ready for Halo: Reach, Quake II RTX v1.2 and with GeForce 441.41, NVIDIA added OpenGL and Vulkan API support for Image Sharpening. GeForce 441.41 also fixes a big for Red Dead Redemption 2.As well as other fixes."

I deleted the sga files and yes TAA bug is still there, the load screen flashing is still there, the jacked up colors in catalog is still there. Frame times with Vsync and triple off stay mostly in the mid 20 range and will go down to 7 or 8, the same spot with vsync and triple on times went down to 7 or 8 range and they spike to low to mid 20s. I also use borderless window mode so my times will be a tad higher due to the fact they still have not fixed the freaking map scaling for Super Ultra Wide. I will say this though it does seem a little snapper far and turning left and right as I didn't pay attention to what the times were before the patch and I will say that with .34 after the rock* patch it is a lot more stable it seems so hopefully the same will hold true for .41. Going to delete sga again and rest settings to default and see what happens with the flashing.

TAA bug still there using SLI. But this new sharpening helps. Game seems more stable. I made the SGA files "read only". Boosted both cards to +100 core. Used the new Nvidia sharpening to 1.0 with "Ignore film grain" to 0.2. Game looks amazing. Mostly Ultra at 3440x1440 hitting 75 in Saint Denis and around 100-110 in open areas. My top card is super hot so need to watercool them

Also  if you use integer scaling it will help also with the blurriness with TAA being on.

I’m sure you think it’s a stupid question, but how do you use the new Nvidia sharpening tool and the “ignore film grain” ? Thanks in advance.

You can apply the sharpening per application under 'Manage 3D settings' in the NV Control Panel. I'd recommend applying it per game as not all need it. I max'd it out to 1.0. The "ignore film grain" seems to make the game look weirdly overly sharpended at 0 and undersharpened at 1. So I used 0.2.

Integer scaling is under change resolution in the control panel and it basically for GPU screen scaling. This will explain it better that me just typing what it does :)

I dropped my res from 5120x1440 to 3840x1080 and frame times mostly  stayed at 9-10 would rarely jump to 19 not sure if this helps with what you what to know. Also HDR seems worse for me and the flashing face when HDR is on is still there. Restoring setting and deleting sga files made no change on the flashing lower setting kind of made them better but not gone even on low and lord does this game look like dog poo on low lol
