I just like how much easier it is to upload videos from an android phone vs uploading pictures.  Plus you get to see more action then in a still photo.

Sorted yes, finished no.
Its almost 3 am, and I just finished wiring the lights up.  Brings a tear to my eye ;)

Now I am exhausted.  I poured 50 lbs of sand between the walls of the enclosure and the foundation of the house to deaden the fixture and for some backing when I wrench down on the concrete anchors.

The before and after are going to be incredible.

I really don't want to burst your bubble, sorry in advance if I do.

No links?    Go to sidewinder and they will be getting the blocks in for P67/Z68

Lights.

All the electric is done. (finished after this picture).  Another layer of sand/resin mix, and a few column to wall reinforcements, and we should be ready to go.

Then comes the tedious task of getting everything aligned, and trammed.

An entire gallon of resin, with 2 gallons of sand.

Now some column to wall reinforcements, then it can be fired up and tested.

Nice, looking at that Heatkiller block it looks like using waterblocks allows access to the PCI-E 1x slot as long as you remove the clip tab from whatever you plug in :) (good reason to get a used soundcard I guess as I won't feel guilty about breaking the warranty hehe)

Sadly upgrade didn't happen... system is:

I forgot my phone at work, or I would have shown a video of my column "nod" to be within 0.0001" on the Z travel.  Going to work on those column to wall reinforcements tonight to lock them in place.

Also I was able to do a complete tear-down of the Z assembly (motor, motor mount, and milling head) in under an hour and make a few adjustments.

All the planning that went into the building, also went into the design with serviceability in mind.  I don't want any machine to be down this long again, but if there is a problem it can be fixed much quicker.

Why don't you do us a favor start your own thread if you know how to do that. We asked these jokers to help us out 6 months ago and they blew us off until there local forum asked for it. Nate has come up with a custom piece for us on this thread.
