the godsend 759? your going to need to pull the board apart and look at it carefully for water in and around the socket and on the components near the socket. and i wouldn't be waiting to long to do that...else rust (or what ever that green stuff is and becomes) will form on the board...speculation of course

Not the best looking lapping ive seen but it serves its purpose. Wish I had some solid temps to compare it too. And my IC7 is still setting in, but the temps do look a little better. Didnt hurt anything (other than my warranty) thats for sure. http://i175.photobucket.c...udster816/GEDC1463.jpg

hey guys, just wondering how i would get my video card cooler without breaking the bank. im currently on stock cooling and i want to bring the temps down as much as possible. if i was to go wwater cooling what size radiator would i need for just the 1 card? you know what.... air cooling is fine....... it will cost me almost $500 to W/C 1 card..... i think i may scan ebay for a second hand block for it.

There's no way it should cost $500 for a single GPU loop. Swiftec 4x120 RAD - $70 MCP 355 w/ XSPC top - ~$90 (Or an MCP 655 - $75) GPU block - $100-115 CPU block - $75 max Tubing and fittings - $40-50 max That puts you right at $400, and I was VERY generous on the price of fittings. You could drop that down to less than $30 easily if you use barbs rather than compressions.

Oh and, would 2 of the Swiftec 3x120s be better, or the EK 480? For a CPU only, then GTX 480(s) later.

any thoughts on insulating a gpu w/ a full coverage block or is it just a bad idea to get it that cold with said block.
