ya havent even changed anything from stock yet as soon as I freeze it it wont boot into windows. Tried playing with the voltages a little with stock clocks and nothing. Tried a few different chips that I know will boot at -60 and nothing tested ram and psu they are both fine I am really at a loss here. On the upside im getting pretty good at insulating boards. Now I just need a good one to bench. Dont have the patience to reinstall the os again and I dont even think thats the problem.

so dont boot at -60...let the temp get to 0 then boot into windows. just to see if you can. once it's up and running then drop the temp down to -60 which takes like all of 30 seconds to do.

xxrabid93 johnksss try losing some voltage and see what happens... xxrabid93 Guys, i just lost the wprime 1024m WR for the q9300. This is the result:http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1043355_blackout51_wprime_1024m_core_2_q9300_2.5ghz_5min_16sec_356ms His ram is 377mhz 5-5-5-5, he posted the actual speed though. So he didn't hit 754mhz lol. Does that actually look like it could beat mine:http://hwbot.org/community/submission/1019322_xxrabid93_wprime_1024m_core_2_q9300_2.5ghz_5min_18sec_351ms I have big doubts about his score... big doubts huh.... 377x2 is 754. and since the bot is on the fritz..i cant really see his scores... wow, you're about 600 mhz higher at that. Lol, i know his actual ram speed is 754mhz. What i meant was he is at 377x2. Like all my results have ram speeds in the 500s; but 500x2=1000. I just couldn't word it right i guess. My ram is at 5xx x2 = 10xx though. So i have faster ram with similar timings, and as you said, my proc is 600+mhz faster than him. ok, so after looking at his screen shot...your settings aren't even close...lol he is running a 5-5-5-5-1 and im pretty sure the other settings you dont see which count for a about a second..are with using memset or cpu tweaker 5-5-5-15-68 is really...not in the same ballpark. you find this right combo with your over clock...you'll smash through his score. i have faith in ya!!

Sweet. I think i coulda beat it anyways. I have some ram here that'll run 533mhz (actual 1066) @ 4-4-4-4-30 easy if you look at my SuperPi 32m score. I have been thinking of reruning Wprime 32m and 1024m, and pifast anyways with the Crucial ram b/c it can get way lower timing or way higher speeds, and see if i can lower my current WRs for those benches.

Hay Guys i thought I'd throw this out there, if any of you are interested in improving your SuperPi 32m runs (by a lot), this little app is a must use,(WAZZA in on click) the basic tweaks listed will help alot to. Read the pages and experiment your self, different OS will react differently All credit to Montboy over at OCXtreme Overclocking Forum http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=3469

Ive put this in its own thread, to make it easy for people to find I hope it helps http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=536503 Tweaks For Running SuperPi Waza or Copy-Waza is more a method than an app The method is to have two partitions on a drive, then you make a large compressed file say 1.2g (size varies ) then you copy that to the other partition (you can also try coping it back and forth over writing CDT) then when its finished the first thing that you run is Super pi 32m, windows will give you all its resources and Memory to run SuperPi and your time should be better.......... Thats a very rough explanation but thats the basics, you should be able to find a more in depth explanation at the link i provided above. What OCX Spi tweaker dose, is do all this nice and easy and you can change the sizes very quickly * The other main tweaks are, run winXP (I use SP3 although a lot like SP2) * Run in ....debug mode ....with a ......maxmem of 600-680 ....(msconfig) * In most cases with the new hardware select ........no page file * And select .....system cache ......under memory usage * Open Spi 32m and get it ready to run * Then run waza (OCX Spi Tweaker) different OS's will react with different settings so you will need to experiment on your system * But make sure that SPi is open and ready to run so all you do is one click to start the calculations and your good to go....... The above is a very very basc outline to what i do, there are alot off other tweaks and methods, but this if what works fore me. http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=3469 All credit for OCX Spi Tweaker to Montboy over at OCXtreme Overclocking Forum
