No 6696 today? 
Looking at the 6696 and the 6796 they are identical, exact same spec's. Only difference I see is their price. The 6796 is a lot cheaper. I just don't understand the price difference.

Guess you mis-read my post. :) I said that the 6796 IS Cheaper!! Actually also on sale for elite registered members. According to the screen I see. shows 819.00 Where the 6696 lists for 879.00.

Did not know EVGA had a newer series of these cards, with 12GHz GDDR5X. I only see 2 models displayed on their site. White & Black. Do you have any info on these New Series that you are talking about?? Would love a link if you got one.

Thst elite card is rare and someone mentioned seeing it in stock last time for a sec in December.
I have not seen it in stock for like 3 months and be shocked to see it come back.
They have not updated the price like other cards so I see that as a sign it won't be back any time soon if ever.
If it does it prob would be at like $949.99 I bet.

Thats my feeling as well. One reason why I went with the FTW 3 Hybrid. It was either FTW 3 Hybrid or the FTW 3 Gaming or Elite Gaming

Well I learned something new today :) Had to go back and look, then I saw the different tabs at the top, clicked on the Elite tab, and saw it only listed a few cards. 6797-K2 was listed under Elite tab. BUT, going back to where it shows all the cards, the 6797-K2 is also listed for everyone else also. Unless I am misunderstanding something. I can log on to EVGA's site without signing in, and that card is still listed. Along with the white one too. No elite status needed as far as I can see.

Well I can wait for a while, because this is for my 2nd build, and I am taking my time on this build. Got a lot of the parts now, just waiting to decide on MB right now. I only buy ASUS MB's. Only parts I need to finish are MB, Memory, and GPU. Still waiting to see what or when the Intel Z390's chips come out. So I can wait if I have too, for a new EVGA GPU

I agree with you. However I just sold my evga 1080 ti fe for 925.00 it helped cover my ftw 3 hybrid, I will have about 60 out of pocket. Win win for me

Here in EU EVGA does not have anything as well. And seeing things as they are now, is going to have NO CARDS from upper tier for a very very long time...
