Oh my gosh... I was working during all this! and I have to work tomorrow all afternoon... un-stinkin' believable! :-(

To make matters worse, the times I did hit refresh, it was refreshing page 60... and you guys had all moved on to page 61.
I
wish this thread listed newest on top instead of newest on bottom.

Oh, we'll Wednesday is another day.

Were any of them ti FTW 3  not Detuned?

Nope. The 1080 ti FTW3 Gaming is model # 6696 for future reference. Jacob confirmed there were none of these today. See you tomorrow.

Thanks EVGA_JacobF,

I really want something like the
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ELITE GAMING BLACK, 11G-P4-6797-K2, 11GB 12GHz GDDR5X, iCX Technology - 9 Thermal Sensors & RGB LED G/P/M
1569MHz Base Clock
1683MHz Boost Clock
528.4GB/s memory (highest)
Do you know if any of these will come up this week?

OR the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING, 11G-P4-6696-KR

What does the ICx stand for? on the GTX 1080 Ti iCX GAMING link?

It looks like the Ti FTW Gaming is about 5-10% faster than the Ti SC2 Gaming. Is that correct?

iCX is the cooling technology. www.evga.com/icx

I don't have any visibility just yet on EVGA.com stock for tomorrow and following days. Will keep updating.

By clock/boost rate anyway. which maybe doesn't mean as much as I'm thinking they do?

I guess I'm trying to understand how much faster the

GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING, 11G-P4-6696-KR

is than the
GTX 1080 Ti iCX GAMING, 11GB GDDR5X, 11G-P4-6591-KR

that's still available on ebay right now?

Out of the box speed is not much. The biggest difference is the cooling. FTW3 has 3 fans, and more power phases so it may overclock a bit better.

How does anyone keep all these different versions straight?

It's like spilling a gallon of Jelly Bellies on the floor and yelling "scramble!" for everyone to try to grab coconut before anyone else gets the one flavor you like, and then you realize that you came up with pop-corn which looks the same but tastes horrible ;-)

I think I need Jelly Bellies!

Like 3% out of the box or 5% or 1%?

I'm probably never going to over clock it.. I prefer my components to last as long as possible and cycling from cold to hot is normally what kills them. cycling from cold to hotter kills them faster. ;-)

5-10% I'll wait for ... because it will save me hours over a year of editing.  1-3% probably doesn't matter.

It looks like the base/boost clock is about 7% slower on the SC which I would think would equal a good 5% boost in speed but I don't follow GPU speed comparisons that much anymore.

I don't think I want extra expense and hassle of water cooling, and maybe noise depending on the method of cooling the water. really more about cost and hassle.

I really want the speed of a Ti, I think it will help for DaVinci Resolve video editing with more layers and grading and FX. so I must wait patiently.
I've told my wife the my new best friend @EVGA_JacobF is going to hook me up with a nice one sometime soon! ;-)

Hybrid is always so much more win in the case, good buy.  They just don't look nearly as cool on racks :\

EDIT:  On a side note; Jacob, any way you guys will be able to offer any other shipping than the regular ground through EBay purchases.  I would have jumped on the 1070Ti but it wouldn't have gotten here for another week+ in NYC.  2-3day options there would be so clutch right now.

I wanted to do the 2-day shipping but decided to go with ground to save a buck. EVGA shipped my FTW3 same night I ordered Monday, and UPS had it delivered to me in 4 days on Friday, 2,733 miles away in Miami FL. I don't know if I got extremely lucky, but just on that anecdotal experience alone has made me a huge fan of EVGA and UPS.

Quick question, does EVGA plan on restocking suppliers like Amazon?  I had an order open with them since mid december (purchased from Amazon) and I am hoping it will ultimately be filled.
