Is there any rough ETA on when 1080/TI's will be back in stock? I've really been needing to upgrade lately and i'd love to stick with EVGA because of the great reliability/support, but the entire site has been out of stock for 1080's and TI's for the past two months. I'm just not sure how much longer i could put it off to stay with EVGA without some sort of confirmation on upcoming stock.

also for the ELITE exclusive cards that are shown as made to order on the listing page, is there no way to place an order to be shipped upon completion?

They are not only out of stock on EVGA, but Amazon, New Egg and other large sites. If you do find some retailer online with them they want way over the actual value, I am assuming this is Bitcoins fault with the recent jump in value.

When are we going to see more, I'd like an answer to that as well, needing 2 GTX 1080ti ftw3 Hybrids here(New and In Box at retail or less!)

It appears that out of a total the 49 models spanning 1080ti to 1070 only the King Pin and one 1080ti SC Hydro Copper are available. Pretty Pathetic IMO. Maybe it has something to do with CES opening tomorrow as well.

Nothing against Moderator help, but perhaps look at the links you provided to see if they actually help.  If you had looked at the nowinstock.net site you would have seen the reason for our asking for an ETA on product.

    Thanks for trying.

That maybe, but what ever they announce at CES isn't in the store right now for those of us that need product for upgrades and new computer builds. Those of us looking at the 1080ti, what ever they do release won't be better than it. Even if Nvidia releases the 20s, the first gen is never superior to the last of the prior gen, and it takes time to come out to the stores.

Just be glad you're not looking in Canada.  Cheapest 1080Ti is $1500.  Literally no one has stock, and anyone who does, is asking an arm and a leg, and getting it.

Let's hope those new cards come soon, and that we don't gouged too hard.

This really REALLY sucks.  Retailers should have restricted the distribution to keep miners from buying out stock in bulk, leaving their actual customers for these products flapping out in the wind.  Say one card per customer per month, etc.  Now a handful of miners are crippling the GPU market, and will soon be flooding ebay with half baked GPUs.  We already see retailers jacking up prices to gouge customers due to the shortages.  We're getting screwed all the way around on this situation.

The main issue that is really worrisome is the fact that none of the big online retailers even have pre-orders for when more stock comes in, as in they don't know and the manufacture isn't telling them either.....

So here we go again with another shortage like over the summer, so guess we are looking at months of wait time.

I’m beginning to think you are correct. I thought it was shortages but way too many people are just *out*... completely.

Might sound crazy, but, last night I had all Amazon product pages open for every model of EVGA's 1080 Ti set to refresh every second. After 30 or so minutes, the FTW3 Hybrid changed from "Currently Unavailable" to "in stock on the 12th" and showed the buy now button.  Got it coming on Monday and I can't wait.  Maybe try the same thing I did.  Open the Amazon page(s) for the card you want and get an auto refresh extension for your browser and just wait.  Make sure to have the 1 click buy option enabled and setup to your card so you don't waste time entering/selecting all the info.

I posted this in another thread as well, but I emailed EVGA's Sales team and got the following response.

    Hello,
Unfortunately we have no ETA for this product at this time. Please use the auto notify me button in order to be emailed once the item becomes available for purchase. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this matter has caused. Please let us know if you have any other questions in order to support you further with your EVGA Product.
    Regards

A lot of the coins are going down value, that could slow the purchase rate down some.

They are only going down due to FUD about South Korea banning crypto, which is false.  It's like when CMC removed Korean exchanges from XRP valuation, and tanked the market for a day.  Nothing but market manipulation.

It takes a lot more than 2 weeks from "order chips for the new product" to "new product ready to ship".
Try 2 MONTHS as a ballpark estimate minimum - and keep in mind that initial production will be at least in part to validate the whole design/production process.
They will also want to build up some stock on Volta consumer cards before they make them available for sale - if they can.

With that said, the fact that NVIDIA cards got hammered hard for well over a week before AMD cards started getting hammered hard indicates that it is NOT "miners" causing this shortage (or at least not JUST miners).

I grant that miners are probably PART of the cause - but normally that would cause insane shortages on the AMD side and Nvidia would not start getting hit 'till the RX 470/480/570/580 got into 1070 price range.
THIS TIME AROUND, the Nvidia 1070 and up were getting hammered and gouged right around New Years - but AMD cards didn't start getting really hammeded 'till late THIS week.

I suspect it is a combination of factors.

TSMC mentioned in an earnings forcast a few months back that they expected to start production on Volta cards around the end of 2017.
This would indicate that Pascal production would start ramping DOWN around the same time.

Nvidia seems to have had a very good Holidays sale season - shortages were noticeable around Christmas, while AMD cards were still widely available though prices did climb a little.

Cryptocoin pricing in general had a big jump around mid-December, but miners seem to have been inclined to "wait and see" a bit to see if the jump would SUSTAIN before they started building new rigs again.

My current guess is that Volta consumer cards will be "announced" at GTC in late March timeframe but might not be available for sale for a month or two after that.
They might follow the Pascal launch timeframe instead and not announce 'till May though.

With little competition from the current AMD lineup, they don't have much if any incentive to "push" the dates up.

Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

No more for me. 4 is my build. All done for next 3 years. Not going down crypto path afterall. An arms race don’t want to be part of. Buy cards - burn cards. A waste.

    Best of luck to all.

I am so depressed over the recent price gouging from 3rd party retailers. I am in the process of purchasing components for a new build and can't seem to catch a break finding a good deal for a GPU. It seems that I will be stuck waiting until prices fall.

I placed an order on Amazon on January 3rd for a 1080TI (regular price, not a third party seller), and I finally received it yesterday! Stock must be slowly trickling back in
