They're a weird exception. Most companies have business partnerships with Fedex/UPS. I have had video cards, full tower cases, and even 50 inch tv's sent to me from across the US. From Amazon it's still free with Prime, or would have been like 20 bucks ground normal shipping for 3-5 days.

It seems like they have partnerships to me.  When I was shipping from Missouri to EVGA it was going to be $32 UPS Ground or like $28 USPS Priority with insurance.  Them to me via ground was like $12 when I did step-up.

USPS nailed it for me though..  I sent it on Friday and it was there on Monday morning.  UPS was going to take 3 more days.

That's weird, because I'm a lot closer than you and return shipping overnight was $65 which is ridiculous. That was the same price my friends over in Texas had to pay too... so it might just be the bottom barrel standard ground shipping price.

Overnight shipping elsewhere, even for big boxes, usually doesn't get to $65.

I think overnight was pretty high, and 3rd day was ~$35 or so, but I figured an extra couple days didn't matter that much.

Looks like evga received my card today.

Mine too, delivered about an hour ago. We'll see how long it takes to ship back.
same it may take awhile for them to even mark it recived tho so the 1-3 days may start tommorow. But we can hope

Mine hit received about 30 min ago, lol. Still don't think I'll get it back before Monday, but at the moment it's a race for AIOs anyway. EVGA dropping the ball with yet another delay, though thankfully EK said that, pending no issues, their AIO including the 1080Ti / Titan X ones will go live next week... So even if EVGA fails me at least there's a backup immediately on the horizon.

I would have been sadder if Persona 5 weren't so close, but the timing really worked out for me.

Good Lord.. I think for how good this program is that it's entirely not worth it for people on the east coast. Between shipping both ways I just spent like 80 dollars on shipping for the slowest option there and then 2 day back.

So to step up from my 1080 FTW2 to a FE 1080ti it cost me around 200 bucks when at face value it should have been like a 110 dollar difference.

I'm not complaining or blaming EVGA. I Guess im just in shock with how much shipping costs are these days. I think the guy quoted like 170 or something crazy for 2 day shipping there.

UPS btw.

Why so much? I am in the East Coast; shipping to them using USPS Priority Mail cost me about $20 and it took 2 days to arrive there. USPS is still the best option there is. So shipping my card was $20; Shipping from EVGA is $20... that is just $40 total for my exchange. I had a Classified that cost me $679 so $20 for Step-up = $60 for the upgrade. This is still much less than what I would have gotten trying to sell my Classified to buy the 1080 Ti.

Hey Guys!

The forum made this cool new feature called "Highlight and Backspace".

To use it on PC, left click just above the last message you are quoting, then drag the mouse upward to the top of the post you are quoting.. just before the last person is highlighted, stop and let go of left click.  The next step is to hit Backspace.  This removes tons of quotes that become irrelevant over time.

If you are on an android device, hold down over the words, highlight everything except the last quote, and then hit backspace.

On apple, tap a word, drag and highlight then backspace.

The extremely long quote chains are annoying for everyone.  Please take a second and remove the excess quotes that you don't need. honestly, I wish it would only quote the very last person.  Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the forum and we have to manually remove quote chains.

I second this.  Lets clean up the quote chains.  It's almost as annoying as people who are the first reply in a given thread but quote the entire post.

Why?  LOL

Whelp, was hoping for that 24 hour turn around miracle to happen so I get it Friday lol. They received it yesterday, no dice on sending it out on the 2nd day ups.
Oh well!
People, don't try for a 2 day air unless you know it'll get to EVGA to ship out for 2-3 days. Aka, they'll receive it Monday and cross your fingers it's sent on Wednesday..
But this is for East Coast peeps like myself. West Coast shouldn't even bother with anything but ground imo

Yep, their brand new series of AIO are coming out next week it seems. Since EVGA just announced by twitter that they won't receive the hybrids to sell until sometime next week it's going to come down to the line.

Is this going to be a different series than the EKWB Predator line?  I mean, $240 for a CPU block and $240 rad was always a killer deal compared to every other manufacturer that went around  for $140.

Is it that, or will EKWB actually be making an AIO, not another pre-made custom loop?

Don't know for certain, but according to them they are brand new modular all in ones that can connect to prefilled blocks in any order, zero maintenance and mess. The predators are already considered "end of life" and will be replaced by these new series.

Because they will use actual blocks and are modular it's safe to assume it'll cost more than EVGA's hybrid, but of course EK is well known for their quality so it might even out. I personally do not care, whichever comes out first gets the green.

So... my Classified was 'on transit to be delivered' to EVGS all day long and it stayed like that even though the delivery day was supposed to be today. I'm concerned and hoping the package didn't get lost. Crossing my fingers.

The driver probably didn't have enough time to get it delivered. I'm sure it will be delivered tomorrow. (Don't quote me on that though)      :P

For those of you that did the ACX to iCX upgrade -> Step-up reset -> 1080Ti Step-up path...

Was the shipping address you sent your ACX card to for your iCX card the same address you sent your iCX card to get your GTX 1080Ti?

I'm having issues with EVGAs automated system and their address book. Thanks.

No. What we got credit for was the original retail price of the ICX card, $679.99.

My ICX upgrade is en route from EVGA as of today.  I went ahead and initiated the step-up request to speed things up and used the $679.99 value as was indicated by EVGA in the forums.  The system wants my invoice to be uploaded.  Will the card arrive with some document, or do I not need to do this since the ICX card is coming from EVGA directly?

Correct!

Re: 1080 TI FE Step Up Thread 2017/03/30 06:39:30 (permalink)
Received my 1080 Ti Step Up yesterday. A big thank you to EVGA for a completely seamless, straight forward and painless process. You guys are awesome for providing this service.
Ran a quick Firestrike Bench last night. Didn't have much time to play any games. This card is a monster...

Thanks.

Should be the same address.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, that is what I assumed.... I asked EVGA back in August if they could ship to my address for the step-up program, and the reply was that they could.

Yet, EVGA's automated system says it can't deliver to my address for the iCX upgrade program, which should be from and to the same addresses though... So, it must be a bug with the system. I can't complete my iCX payment with that bug, so I submitted a ticket.
I just wish I could straight step-up to a 1080Ti for an extra $99 ontop of the step-up price and not go through the double shipping hassle (as do many others), but oh well :p
