Two of my fans won't go lower than 33% speed, and the 3rd is 0%. Before this update I could set them to whatever I wanted. What's the word on that?

I just downloaded the VBAR Update exe  for 24G-P5-3975-KR and it worked, i now got the XC3 bios on my ftw3 with resizable bar enabled. Bumped my PR score to 14800 from 14500 with same oc settings.

How were you able to install it? When I ran the exe it told me compatible cards were found and it exited. 
 

I had the XC3 Bios installed on my ftw3 so the .exe flash tool recognized my card as a xc3 and it just worked (hardware info reads my card as 24G-P5-3975).

I'm getting this error for a 24G-P5-3987-KR
 

 
 
 
Edit, figured it out, even trying to use cmd line it was giving error.
Did a DDU to wipe everything same.
Turns out, it was my AV that was blocking it

I have operating system error ! alert says "please re-install windows in UEFI Mode" what does this mean? running win pro 64
 
running a msi gaming pro AC board x299 w /7820x 
 
Bios is updated to include their beta bios which says it adds support for Resize bar.
 
When ever I switch resize bar on in the bios, the bios just boot loops back into itself not into windows. 
 
I also have the "Please check motherboard vendor error." !  (otherwise gpu 3090 ftw ultra, new bios, and drivers are green) 

any word on that 1000 watt ln2 bios getting fixed. i been seeing people asking about it for like 6 pages and keep getting ignored. 

Hey all, I had the same issue that X1 was not detecting my motherboard Resizable Bar was not present/enabled even though it was (Gigabyte Z390 Designer). What I did was completely reset my BIOS (removed power, shorted the cmos pins, removed the battery, and shorted the pins again). Then I went back to my bios to disable CSM, enable XMP for my ram, and my overclocked settings as it was before. Then I booted into my Windows 10 and I checked X1 and now it says Resizable Bar enabled. You guys having issue might have to completely reset your bios before it is detected correctly. Just FYI.

I finally got mine working! :)
I had to make sure to: update my MB Bios, and enable Re-BAR in it (was Disabled by Default). CSM was disabled by default.
After reinstalling X1 and reinstalling my GeForce Drivers, X1 finally allowed me to update my VBios with no issues.
It retained the XOC Bios (500W PL).
 
Went from VBios ver. 94.02.26.48.F8 to 94.02.42.80.27
 
MB: MSI Z490 MPG Carbon WiFi
GPU: 3090 FTW3 Ultra (24G-P5-3987-KR)

Read what. That I have the latest bios and it's enabled. As well as the latest xoc vbios flashed from latest precision?

You're welcome. Techpowerup keeps a repository of VBIOS. It's not the new BIOS. Should be the original.

Can I try to flash with an old version of the bios?
In a little while I will try to disable CSM (if it is active) and, if it doesn't work, boot via onboard graphics and then flash.
I hope it works out, I don't want to be without VGA. :(

Did the latest MCU firmware/Re-BAR VBIOS disable fan spin down on the 3080 FTW3 Ultra?

I have the OC switch XOC Re-BAR VBIOS flashed and I can't seem to set anything below 34% on fan 1 and fan 2. Fan 3 does spin down when using Precision X1, but not when I'm using MSI Afterburner.

Before updating to the latest MCU firmware/OC switch XOC Re-BAR VBIOS, when I was still on the older OC switch XOC VBIOS, the GPU fans can be set to 0%.

yes same issue. Are you using the OC bios?

Yes, 450W XOC VBIOS flashed to the secondary OC VBIOS chip.

I have the fan problem with a rtx 3080 ftw3 ultra and my fans plugged into the gpu (fan4) aren't spinning, sometimes start spinning when I set a custom fan profile
It's happening at normal and oc bios.
Everything was working properly before the update.

1. I reset MB bios and disable 4G/Rebar and it boots normally.
2. If I disable CSM I have not drives to boot to.

Same here, I have no video to let me back into BIOS. This is on MSI MAG Z490 Tomahawk with latest BIOS.

Ok, some news.
 
I put my 3060 Ti (08G-P5-3667-KR) on an MSI Z87 GD-65 with an i7 4770K and, trying to boot from VGA, I received error B2 on the display post on the motherboard. When entering with onboard video, I was able to boot and in Windows my 3060 Ti is recognized. See:
 

 
I believe my VGA isn't dead, right?

I disabled the CSM on my main motherboard (Asus Strix B550-F) and even then the VGA did not boot. On the motherboard, the white debug led stays on and doesn't even give any video signal.
 
On the Z87 GD-65, I deactivated the CSM, but the display code shown (97) also did not let me follow with the boot (with or without VGA). I think it's a motherboard problem. After a bios reset, and with the CSM active, the display code shown was B2.
