Will be headed to the straggler list.
3080Ti now shows 1minute 59 seconds to go and I already have a (non evga - zotac)3070 in the machine.

Thanks for reporting back.  Sounds like we might have a straggler tomorrow or Monday.

Best of luck on the 3080 Ti!

Got my notification for a 3060 (3657). My timestamp was 3/1/2021 at 6:56:09am.

It's not the card I wanted, but it's something I sorely need. My 980Ti is still working good, no performance issues with it, but physically the fans on the card ramp up full speed (or faster) randomly as the card is in use; they spin up really fast for 3 or 4 seconds. The fans can spin up a handful of times a day and sometimes they don't do it for a few days....eventually something is going to fail on her and then I'll be sitting there without a way to play. I've pulled the card apart, repasted, replaced thermal pads and completely cleaned it out (looked brand new), but it didn't help with the random fan spin ups.

I'm still on a few notifications for a 3070 and 3080, but I'm guessing I'll never see those cards since I've still got about 2 months time to go from the current timestamps on them.

Thankfully I also don't have to pay high retail prices either - I'm seeing similar RTX 3060 cards going for $500. I'm content now, still wishing I could have found a 3070 or 6800 at original MSRP. Oh well, I'll make good use out of this card.

Congratulations on getting the card. I have to wait for a long time

I am convinced that it will be at least a full month before we see any sort of movement on the 3968 (hybrid). I was hoping to have this card before my wife delivers mid-July lol

I haven’t looked that much into pricing from brands other than EVGA, but I think some of what we’re seeing in the shuffle is strictly Newegg pricing. I’ve seen the 3090 FTW going for $1929.99 in the shuffle when it’s $1889.99 through EVGA directly.

And to have any AiB company in Europe  sounds like a SCI-FI, Europeans are (regrettably) out of electronics.
Additional question is, what does it mean that EVGA is NA company, when mostly all work is done in China or Taiwan, I guess.

EVGA headquarters (and where NA shipping is done from) is in California.  EVGA is the #1 NVIDIA authorized partner in channel sales throughout North America.

EU location is EVGA GmbH in Munich.
https://eu.evga.com/about/

Where the parts are made isn't relevant here any more than where the parts are made for a guitar, a ceiling fan, an automobile or any other product.

The only caveat I'll add there is that NA queue products are shipped from California (after they receive parts from Taiwan), while EU products are shipped direct from Taiwan. A further caveat is that I've heard this from other forum members, not from first-hand knowledge. So "EU location in Munich" or not, they don't ship from there, unlike how the NA queue operates.

Thanks for clarification guys.
The point is that when I see some dude blabbing that EVGA is NA company, makes me laugh.....
All made in Taiwan...

If you wanna go by that logic Apple is a Chinese company right?

In a lot of ways they are. In a global economy, a US company or a Chinese company isn't so clear cut. However in the end, the country where the product is actually produced has the final influence.

Exactly.

EVGA is headquartered in the US and they seem to favor the US channels.  EU gets the scraps.  Well, actually scraps of the scraps, since the US EVGA stuff is after they satisfy all of their other contracts.

It is not "right", it is not "fair", but that's the way these things work.  I have the same issue here in the US with EU-based companies.  Fractal Design, for instance, has a wonderful EU store for parts.  Not so in the US, we have to go through support, and cannot simply buy what we would like.

I work for a large global company and policy/benefits/compensation vary greatly from region to region, country to country.  US salary employees have almost no protection against "weekend work", while our EU colleagues have rules in place for approvals and additional compensation.  Bridge days, more vacation days, actual sick days...  None of this is traditionally "fair", but that's the point, the sooner people get over what seems "fair" and focus on making the most out of the reality, the happier and more productive everyone will be.  I know one thing for sure, no one place has it figured out, there is good/bad to each system, and we are going to pay out of our pockets one way or another.

Interesting point you made my friend but I couldn't agree with EU gets the scrap on rest yes EU have better social protection compared to US , plus in EU was some talk to make a 4 days working week instead of 5 and much more but everything depends on different countries within EU.

* As Cheaply
* By stealing technology

Where a product is manufactured is a choice made by the actual company that develops the product's supply chain.  China does it cheaper for a variety of reasons but that IN NO WAY means that the product can only be produced in China.  Even now we are seeing alternative manufacturing centers in development.

China is a HUGE market opportunity for every company in the world.  Their influence is tied to their ability to manufacture cheaply, and their consumer base.

But saying that they somehow own Apple, EVGA, Nvidia simply because they are the major source of that supply chain is like saying that Hershey's is owned by Ghana.

I'm starting to understand why EU doesn't have their own AIB's now.

Could you imagine if EVGA had manufacturing facilities in the US? Would the cards cost double what they are now? And how would they compete with the foreign-made counterparts still selling at current prices? I made a concerted effort to buy American whenever it is a viable option, despite the costs, but in general those purchases have been as good or better than the foreign-made counterparts (BO,CO!). I'm not sure electronics would have the same claims, since they're all still foreign made components being assembled by American labor, would they?
